Thank you for finally bringing the Mac version out.

I have a couple of questions regarding this:

- I currently own a PC Collector's Edition of FFXIV ARR and wish to continue the same character by playing in a Mac. Can the account be linked together?

- My Square Enix account is linked to EU region, but I currently reside in Singapore. I tried to preorder the Mac version in Square Enix EU store but unable to do so due to website restricting non-EU buyers. Can you please look into this and enable me (and many others in similar situation) to make the purchase from EU store? I can even pay directly via Paypal, and it's supposed to be less complicated since it's a download-only digital version.

How to obtain new extra jobs low-level weapons if it is no drop from primals? Crafting is the best possible choice that sound reasonable but what about token weapons from GC seals or Allied Seals?

Can you please make the physical Collector's Edition of Heavensward available in the Australia SE store as we've been promised that retailers would stock it but the only one who has so far was EB Games and it was Au$300 and had sold out.

I would appreciate some effort at marketing the game in Australia and South East Asia where there is a huge Final Fantasy fan-base. Final Fantasy Type 0 is sold in many stores including Target and JB HiFi and I'd like for Heavensward to be available there too.

Failing this, is there a possibility to switch an EU account to an NA one?

Make a real Summoner
Right now the Summoner in this game is a Summoner in Name Only because it's an Arcanist with Fester
Summoner should be made into its classic image by adapting the Final Fantasy Tactics Advance Summoner to this game.
Make 70% of the damage come from the pet and make Summoner a pet based job.

Is SMN going to get fixed? I play smn as my main job and while there is love for the job still, those who play it know personally it's downfalls... Its the laughingstock/joke of endgame damage-wise, its a DPS job that's more like a support job, apart from summoning Egis it doesn't FEEL like a SMN, the summons/Egis are imbalanced ability wise (its annoying to have ppl harass you because you're using any pet other than Garuda-Egi simply because she has Contagion!). These are not just my opinions, check the forums and you'll find many threads addressing these issues by other SMN.

How will stat weights/potency/effect be changed in 3.0? Will stats be more effective/potent?

Why aren't all summoner dots instant cast? (Since you're making SMN do the dirty dot work, applying dots with only one being instant cast because tedious when dealing with 4+ targets.)
Why did you take away summoners cross class dots? We don't have sustainable burst DMG like blm, dots are our staple and you've limited us to 3 SMN dots with an additional aoe dot that's situational/positional.
Bane is a joke and watered down to only 3 targets as well as not differentiating between mobs that already have active dots from the caster resulting in useless overwrites. Why can't SMN spread dots to all targets?! Blm gets to do good aoe DMG but SMN is a joke with silly limitations like Bane.

Can we see Summoner pets play a more vital role in relation to how SMN plays?

From talking to other SMN and seeing various threads on the topic, many feel pidgeon holed to only using Garuda-Egi in party based content while the only utility Titan-Egi sees is solo content with rare occasions where Titan-Egi comes in handy in niche situations.

Ifrit-Egi... Only a few SMN know this Egi actually does good DMG, but still refuse to use him because 1) radiant shield buff is a wasted pet ability slot, 2) ifrit doesn't have contagion, 3) like titan-egi his travel time to target is sloooooooooow, once again making Garuda-Egi more optimal in terms of gap closing and safety.

Will there be any more quests that will increase our individual standings within the Grand Companies?

Are there any future plans to have the game use DirectX 12 or Vulkan? I can see some benefits from using these APIs.

There will be (in time) any pre-order on steam?
It's not fair to buy the game again on windows to have the pre-order bonus. There's is so many restrictions and spectulations on the internet can we have an answer about how this will work for steam players?

Is there any chance in a future patch to make not accepting going in duty finder only penalize the party members that don't accept?

In one of the Main Scenario Quests, I remember Minfilia talking to someone named Krile via linkshell, and as of 2.4, she's still recovering from the Isle of Val incident. Will she make an appearance anytime in Heavensward?

Right now, in all forums, including the Live Letters, I see Profile images of many characters from only the Hildibrand sidequests, like Godbert, Nashu, and even Hildibrand himself, not just on my account, but everyone else's on forum posts. Is it a hint that Hildibrand will return for Heavensward?

He is already confirmed to have a story arc in Heavensward but not at release. :D (This is an April Fool's day joke, I believe they did something similar before last year)

Question Time! Can you show us any new monster models/sprites you'll be adding to the game? You don't have to reveal the name or anything but would be neat to see some of the horrors that await us in Heavensward!

Will we see the Wind Drake from earlier Final Fantasy games return in Heavensward?

Will Heavensward introduce more or even another set of emotes and poses for your player character?

With the coming of patch 2.5.5, it seems as if the Au Ra are not going to be formally introduced in the Realm Reborn content cycle at all, with no real mention being made of Yugiri's unmasked appearance outside of a brief comment on her attractiveness. Is it the intent that Au Ra will simply be dropped into the world on day one of early access with no further lead-in, or will early Heavensward quests address their addition to the adventuring ranks of Eorzea?

Can we expect to see the Samurai class make a reappearance in the entirety of Heavensward, or will we have to wait until 4.0...

Currently, the only place I can find to pre-order Heavensward in the USA is on the Square-Enix Online Store, and it is only the Box standard and Collector's Edition.

I would like to pre-order the Digital Download version. When and where will that be available?

With the Fan Fests, Live Events, and Live Letters we have heard alot about new jobs, race, areas, FC capabilities/expansions of play, and some overall flyover of map areas.

What or When will we get information on the following:

1. New Beast Tribes and interactions?
2. Existing Beast Tribes/added content/land expansions?
3. Existing open world expansion and if we will see lvl60 open world creatures in the existing areas?
4. Existing Dungeon expansion - hard answers on what to expect.

and a big one that I haven't seen asked yet:

When will we finally start getting information on how the existing City-State Capitals are being added to/expanded with the addition of Heavensward.

Yoshi-P has dropped several live letters ago that (example) Pearl Lane in Ul'Dah will become an active Market in 3.0 selling lvl50 to possibly lvl70 gears.

The New is great, but since I will also still be grinding other jobs after 3.0 releases, would like to know what is coming too the current familar gaming enviroment.

Yoshi-P has mentioned in a recent live letter that (specific) the crafting classes are getting a big change (reaching) they can make their own Job for that class by becoming a specialist in making something specific. An example I remember was Alchemist specializing in Potions or Weapons and that these would be found (reaching) at the existing Guild House locations.

All we have been told up to this point on the DoW and DoM jobs is that the story will be continuing. However, with the Monk, that would be difficult (opinion) since the Scientist has published his work and is research is done and the Monk who was teaching us left to "find the right path" if I remember correctly.

I also remember people posting about how one job ends with their teacher saying "I will not leave them to the abyss" and leaving.

Can you give us more on how the existing jobs will get to lvl60 and if this will all happen in the new Heavensward content areas or if it will happening in the existing areas of 2.0 or both?

I have casually mentioned this on a previous post, but would like get in depth on some of what we may be seeing in the existing open world expanded content. To my knowledge, all Yoshi-P has mentioned to this point, "is the maps will become larger with the 3.0 content"...very earth shattering.

1. Many moons ago (before the 1st year anniversary of the game I think) Yoshi-P gave us an answer about the railroad tracks in Thanalan and that a particular "Train" will be making an appearance from a previous FF title. Can we expect this with the 3.0 expansion or has it been tossed to the dev room floor currently?

2. Yoshi-P has mentioned map areas will show improvements and expansion with the 3.0 launch. Will this also include additional quests/lore/playable expansion or will it be all eye candy? If it is all eye candy (which I expect) in 3.0, can Yoshi-P go on record about if this eye candy content will add playable content as we move through the 3.0 progression to 4.0?

3. I know it has been asked, don't think it has been answered, but will fishing from ferry boats be a part of the 3.0 release content?

As one who hasn't done the 2.55 content (typing this at work right now) will we who are Pro Sultana and personally hate the Brass Blades (the way they ballon talk just screams for this):

WILL WE AS PLAYERS FINALLY BE ABLE TO KICK THE CRAP OUT OF THE BRASS BLADES WITH THE 3.0 RELEASE ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

I ordered my physical PS4 collector's edition from the Square Enix store, I selected standard shipping, which states 7-10 days, I am worried that will not have access to new content once early access end on the June 23 and I have to wait until I get my collector's edition before I can continue playing. I know several people with this concern, how will it work for people who pre-ordered and are waiting for their physical copies to arrive in the mail?

No Spoilers to Story, However...

The story you pulled off was ***EPIC***. So much character development, so many surprises, so much that makes me love the players. It was a masterpiece.

However, the new character introduced for Ishgard that appears at the end of the trial was a little... boring, and flat.

Will we see far more character development like what we've seen in Patch 2.55?

I want to main as astrologian in heavensward, will having ANY complete relic advance me to the same stage in my astrologian relic as everyone else with their pre-existing relics??
I have 75 alexandrite and materials such as materia as of now, do I use them to upgrade a weapon and complete said weapon or do I wait til the expansion and use my materials on a astrologian relic from scratch? Would be good to let us know as not all of us have the time to re-grind everything before said expansion.

Will there be content outside to do other than dungeon raiding in heavensward?
And
Will hunts be weakened or points gained be raised, since people will be doing heavensward content?

When will we see a "Entrust to Company Chest" when right-clicking on a item? Such option as when storing to a retainer "Entrust to Retainer".

Ok, I have finally gotten "out" and I have noticed that after watching this, no one it seems is asking about what was shown off after the Banquet.

I am a huge fan and user of a particular magic that was cast by a Lalafell Black Mage. I haven't seen it as castable since Final Fantasy 8 (which made it really nice to have after I unlocked Lionheart.)

And if I am mistaken, we saw a White Mage break out the same Magic used against us by a particular weapon at the end of the 2.0 series.

With that said, was this done for affect, or can we expect these two particular spells to finally come into our arsenal with the LVL60 increase when Heavensward goes Live?

Give me something on this please.

At the release of ARR, There were a number of issues related to logging on and servers being full. With Heavenswards being highly anticipated, how is your team preparing for the launch of this expansion?

If Samurai as chosen over Dark Knight, would it have functioned as a similar kind of tank, albeit without the “powers of darkness” aspect?

In terms of content in Heavensward, we are expecting as much content available at the launch of ARR. Will the majority of this content be between levels 51-60 (meaning it will take roughly the same about of time it took to get from 51-60 as it did to get 1-50) or will most of the content be focus on “end-game?”

Will all new mounts going forward, be exclusively flying mounts?

After the recent reveal of specializations but the lack of information surrounding it, a large factor that promoted the game was the armory system and the hard core end game battle system but also crafting and gathering systems that weren't catered towards casual play. Desynthesis introduced a more casual way of making gil, while i think this is fine for obtaining materials for crafting, this worries me about the future of specializations. Can you please tell us more about how specializations will work and whether we will be locked into a certain set of recipes or if we will be able to take full advantage of the armory system and remain omni crafters (all crafts on one character); i ask this because many players have already begun leveling multiple characters (alts) crafting classes to 50 in anticipation of being forced into a static role as a crafter, worried that they will lose the freedom to craft anything, anywhere, anytime.

P.S. Keep up the great work, love the ideas for gatherers from what i read! Just worried about crafting, it's my favorite thing to do in the game ^^ I always felt that it was just right.

Between 51-60, how many stat points will be able to be allocated? 10? Or will it be more?

Any news on FC alliances?

Will Linkshell functionality be improved? Will the member limit be raised?

Will Summoner get separate spells from the Arcanist so it won't share abilities with the Scholar
Will the Pets get more abilities and play unique roles in parties.

I wonder when and If steam is going to launch Collecters Edition to Heavensward? And if they are when does it come to steam?

Given the state of affairs after the end of 2.x, can we expect to have more involvement with our characters responses and actions in events during Heavensward? Some of us miss the multiple choice parts.
