Is there a option to remeld materia after you get your zodiac? Currently missing 3 waters and the random item drops.

Just finished my relic. Did the math on drops and it appears to be about 20%.

Yes there is. The last option from Jalzahn's list: Zodiac Weapon Modification. You will need a new sphere scroll to copied old stats. And if the steps are the same as Nexus you'll have to remeld with Alexandrites of X amount you want.

Ok, so I got over my anger toward this newest relic quest and started yesterday. So far, have 3 of the Bombard Cores, 3 of the 100,000 purchased items and got a few dungeon drops. Took me 1 try for Aurum Vale (thank god), 4 tries for Wanderers Palace and 3 tries for Copperbell HM. In addition, I ran Haukke HM about 7 times last night with no drop and Hullbreaker 3 times with no drop.

75 dungeon runs in total. With a few exceptions (Stone Vigil HM, I'm looking at you), it wasn't too terrible.

Up to 40 runs of Lost city, is there something special you guys are doing before you exit, like /pray or anything? AV took me 12 tries, I thought that was awful, but Lost city is starting to look like the worst for me so far. I'm only halfway through the process, this is my second quest I'm working on, and I've even managed to buy a spring water exclusively by doing this one dungeon O_O.

and that's really as far as I've gotten for now since PSN was down a bit during and after Christmas and I only started the quest a day or two before that. I feel like I'll be punished for having gotten all my original Atma so quickly when they were first introduced T.T but really RNG is RNG and the rate already seems way better than anything else so far.

I can't do this anymore. Nearly 20 TERRIBLE runs of Aurum Vale (Not counting all of the failed runs) and still no drop. Everytime there is people who want to clear everything, no respect whatsoever that people have been running it for ages for drop. There is almost NO zodiac dungeon runs in party finder, and if I make my own it never fills.

SQE, please learn how to do RnG properly. There should be an upper limit how many dungeons you have to do on each quest step for it to drop (a cap of 15 would be fair). With the way rng works, theoretically you can go for over 60 dungeon runs without a drop.

Well you gotta understand DPS queues and low level dungeon queues in general are awful and most people want to clear everything because it's the biggest chance at EXP most under 50s will get for hours, so the respect should come from the players doing it for their relic.

Don't get me wrong, I think involving low level dungeons and rehashing old content in general was badly implemented, like a lot of things in this game. The reasoning might be sound, get existing level capped players to do old content and revitalize it for new players or players leveling another class.

The thing is adding an RNG to it just leads to another clash between players who want the exp and players who've ran it a million times by now and still haven't gotten their item, so the faster they're done with it the better. The whole relic questline after Zenith is just a mess of lazy cost saving.

The 2nd grind was ALOT less brutal than the first x.x RNG works in some pretty crazy ways, out of the 16 brayflox runs I did for both weapon grinds I saw 3 baby opos drop from the boss chest and ended up winning one of them :3

I can't believe these drop rates. I am at 74 dungeons so far (did not count specific ones) with only one drop from WP.

That's a 1,35% drop rate.

I feel tempted to either delete my relic or even character.

thats the beauty of asian moron dev rng. it makes some people say its good while others get the shaft for all thier work. hence why rng gated progression sucks ass.

Edit 2: Last night my luck shaped up a tad, got 3 drops. I think I'm only going to do a couple dungeons a night to keep it less of a headache.

On my 9th Dzemael right now. I really want this dungeon done since its a huge time sink... I mean, I think you get no tome at all here? It's like nothing benefit from running this dungeon at all... The gil you received in this dungeon is puny as well. I would rather run more times on the high level dungeon over this though.
