Could we have more informations about each mark we hunt ? NPC give few infos but we don't know who they are, what they want, etc.

During the final days of the original game (1.0) Atomos appeared at various Aetheryte crystals, and on the final day, within an hour of Bahamut's emergence, Atomos's voidsent (a ghostly Nale Deus Darnus included) converged on Ul'dah. As far as I can tell, this was never mentioned again, even in the Sultana's chapter in the Tales from the Calamity.
My question is this: Will there ever be mention of Atomos's appearance during the Calamity in the lore?
Maybe the attack on Ul'dah was a way to divide the players to reduce the server crashing in Mor Dhona, but why spend so much developmental effort on the Atomos arc of the Calamity story only to forget about it entirely?

In the Ixali beast tribe quests they describe their homeland origins as being a floating island in the sky. Is this a real place that we will eventually be able to go to and traverse. Maybe even a "floating continent" (ieFFVI)

You have given a good amount of in-game sources of lore in the form of the Sightseeing Log, Mount - and Minion Guides.
However, has it been considered to use something along these lines to expand upon the lore of the various dungeons, a "Duty Log" if you will, something that could be updated with new information when you clear both standard and hard mode versions of a dungeon, as well as speaking with NPCs related to specific dungeons?

With what we currently have in game (including beast tribe quests) this type of class seems like it would fit into the lore of the game. Considering that the Amaji have quests related their own shamman(sp), there is a build for the lore in game and the Shanginn from 2.2 who is even referenced in 2.3.
For battle mechanics I would figure it would play like a cross between DoH/DoL but work like the Chemist in Final Fantasy Tactics or the NPCs from from the Beast Tribes who can expand that and the overall story of the lands they live on (Thanalan, Shroud, La Nosea.)
Will we meet further Imperial Legatus in the future to come?
The torn notes in Tam Tara (HM) were interesting for finding out Edda's state of mind (although after the fact, since the people with me were more intent on finishing the dungeon than stopping to read). So far, there haven't been a lot of dungeons with notes or investigation points that weren't used for advancing through the dungeon. Will we be able to see more bits of information scattered around dungeons to give a better idea of what happened in each area?
Regularly in the main story our actions are attributed to the "Chosen One" adventurer that defeated all of Eorzea's greatest threats single-handedly, but even aside from the groups that we complete these battles with, there are times when the NPCs actually tell us to gather a group of adventurer's, yet only our own character alone is given credit. Will the NPCs eventually give more recognition to the adventurers helping us out?
what EXACTLY is odins tie to gridania? in the fate against him, when he defeats you, or you fail, he says "Soon urth. soon" it cant just be coincidence. does he have strong ties to that area?
In the "End of an Era" trailer we see Bahamut break free of Dalamund, which we now know was constructed by the Allagan. Shortly after, the Scions attempt to recapture Bahamut in another spherical prison.
We're led to believe that the power used to materialize this contraption was of The Twelve, summoned by the Scions. Is this accurate?
If so, had they succeeded in completing the cast, would the prison have been the same as the former, a "Dalamund II" if you will?
Assuming that outcome, is it not safe to assume also that there is a connection between The Twelve and the Allagan?

As it is right now potions are pretty worthless. Whether they be for health, mana, posion, petrified, etc. My Qestion is will poitions and other consumibles (phoenix down) be usible on others, even during combat? Remove the cool down on the potion itself and have it give a debuff. The debuff could just have different timers instead of the potion. Then again potions heal/mana for so little once you are lv50 i(90) the debuff could be removed all together. Just a suggestion to bring potions back into Final Fantasy 14
Can you compare gil to real world currency?
The world in 2.0 is pretty large but it feels small due to the fact its so easy to travel to each zone via Aetheryte. In 3.0 will we see less Aetherytes and more travel via mounts and Airships?
With Patch1979's comment below about potions and such in the game being really useless at lvl 50 and beyond, the Wanderer class/job (chemist from FF Tactics) would be a way to make them desirable and useful at higher classes through Talan at Reverants Toll.
Are we going have a Fate for FINAL FANTASY Type-0, like we had for the LIGHTNING RETURNS: FINAL FANTASY XIII ?
I'm sure you herd this a lot. But I'd like to know if it will be decided or considered that the summoner's pets "egi" would change skins to look a little more like there counter parts? At the moment carbuncle looks the best sadly I have to be arcanist to have him follow me around. It's disappointing that garuda looks like she's hungry and eating herself, titan looks as if he has Down syndrome and ifrit just looks like a big red ulcer on flames. What each egi does is perfectly fine I just wish it was more eye appealing. It seems that summoner's pets went backwards in the FF MMO generation. FFXIV SMN pets Visuals should have been ffxi while XI should have been XIV. please change ithere looks! Summon was my fav job till XIV.

with Rogue/Ninja coming out for 2.4 it seems like focus is on the East, Samurai as Tank but what would an 'Eastern' healing class be?
With the rumors of a 'Gunner/Healer' class coming out though it would also make the Garlean empire and the north a possibility giving us a more mechanized tank class such as "Rihtahtyn sas Arvina" at Cape Westwind trial would be cool.

This question might be a narrow in scope, but by Jove it has been bugging me to no end; the Thalassian Targe, a reward for defeating Graffias in Toto-rak, is it named after Thal of Nald'thal, or Thaliak, and therefore connected to one of their clerical orders? Or am I simply reading too much into the name? I mean since it is found in Toto-rak there is a distinct possibility of it being either one, as neither is directly related to the Shroud.
What is the story about Atomos? Is it a voidsent, voidgate or primal similar to the one in FF XI?
Is the Garlean Empire's name a reference or play off the antagonist from FF1?

What can you tell us about the Patron Deity - Nation State relationships? Most of them have been filled in, but a few are yet missing (Menphina, Nymeia, Byregot and Althyk). I expect Althyk is associated with Amdapor but can't find his exact mark anywhere in either of the two dungeons associated with the Amdapori. Further, of the Nation States, all extant states are associated with Astral Deities, but those that have fallen are associated with members of the Twelve noted as "Umbral". Does this bode ill for Ul'dah in the coming expansion, in particular, since Nald'thal is Umbral?
(Sharlayan is a noted exception as well.)
As per the Syrcus Tower cutscenes, we see that the Allagan Empire's conquest of Meracydia was not until after Xande's resurrection (unless he was that lovely color beforehand). Can you tell us more about the accomplishments of Xande during his first reign?
Was Belah'dia a combatant in the "War of the Magi", and if so, responsible for the summoning of Diabolos to destroy the Amdapori? Or if that's too on the nose with the expansion, what caused the fracture of Belah'dia into Sil'dih and Ul'dah, and why did Sil'dih keep Azeyma as their Patron Deity?
Is there any credence to the fanon speculation that each of the Twelve is associated with one of the single-player games in the main series? (Spoilers for each of the games follow, ofc)

II: Nald'tahl, the Traders. Two brothers separated for nearly the entire game, one as the hand of the antagonist, and you literally travel to Hell. [2]
III: Llymlaen, the Navigator. The world of III begins nearly entirely consumed by a great flood. Rather straightforward.
IV: Menphina, the Lover. The moon, especially the artificially created Red Moon where Bahamut and eventually Zemus are challenged, and the visual similarity to Menphina's symbol. [3]
V: Oschon, the Wanderer. The Wind Crystal compels the Warriors of Light to seek the other Crystals and save the world. The party frequently comments on the nature of their journey, moreso than in other games. [4]
VI: Halone, the Fury. Kefka is driven into a rage and channels the power of the Warring Triad into his body to attempt to reshape the entire world. Unlike other antagonists, Kefka actually succeeds in his plot. Halone's symbol is three spears, of course.
VII: Rhalgr, the Destroyer. His sign is Meteor. Sephiroth. Nuff Said.
VIII: Nophica, the Matron. The plot points revolving around SeeD, the Gardens, and Edea's role as the party's guardian at the orphanage.
IX: Byregot, the Builder. Garland's creation of the Genomes, his attempts to manipulate the worlds of Terra and Gaia, and the fact that he himself is an android. [5]
X: Nymeia, the Spinner. The cyclical nature of Sin's death and Rebirth, and the "fate" of each High Summoner to surrender their life and that of their guardian speaks to a relationship to Nymeia. Spira's name was chosen to evoke the idea of a "spiral", as well.
XI - excluded as an online multiplayer game.
XII: Thaliak, the Scholar. Cidolfus Bunansa's pursuit of knowledge in order to free himself from the reign of the Occuria. [6]
XIII: Azeyma, the Warden. I haven't played any of the XIII games, but I'm told that Lightning herself fits in rather tidily with this connection, especially considering that none of Azeyma's aspects seem to have more than a distant, tangential connection with any of the other plots of the main series.
1 While two games (I and VIII) have plots related to time, VIII is the only one with any allusions to growth, gardening or significant parenting, and so that'd be Nophica.
2 While two games (II and IV) have plots related to brothers, IV's connection to the moon is considered more significant, leaving that associated with Menphina.
3 While two games (IV and VIII) have plots related to their planet's moons, the comparison between the Red Moon and Dalamud is considered more significant. In addition, you do not actually travel to the moon in VIII.
4 While two games (III and V) have parties compelled by the Wind Crystal, III's association with the great flood is considered more significant.
5 Two games (IX and XII) closely revolve around the notion of high technology used to shape the fate of the world in their setting. Dividing these two was difficult but I believe this is the correct assessment.
6 Again, IX and XII have similar themes with regards to this point. But the manufactured aspects of IX's story (the Genomes themselves) are considered more central than Cid's work on Nethicite, and Garland is not repeatedly regarded as exceedingly brilliant, if a bit mad.
