People coming to Garuda and Titan in all-AF and junk accessories. The players clearly need policing.
It's not elitist to want people to not waste your time.

Honestly I think it should have been Aurum Vale (Dzemael for the rank prior then AV for final) which would also fit the "must have beaten AV to get the AK access quest"

gear check will only affect the random pugs or duty finder. If you don't like gear checks then you should try to make friends or join a free company. Be nice, Be helpful, make friends, join the community and the doors will open for you. If you want to namelessly find speechless groups just to complete a dungeon and get reward then accept the rules, cause these rules are made for these type of groups to avoid drama from failure.

Wake up people, this game has genuine gear checks in the later content. You should not expect to be invited to Titan if you still have AF on and you certainly shouldn't call the leader an elitist jerk because of it.

I agree. It's disgusting that so many players feel entitled to being carried through content they're not ready for, by players who've invested loads of time to get there.

The ones denying you a spot aren't being elitist, they're being efficient and realistic. You're simply being lazy by demanding a change of attitude without doing what is necessary to ameliorate your character.

FYI: Being elitist means feeling superior to others. Not denying someone a spot in a group merely because he isn't ready.

This comment shows your true ignorance. PuGs (pick up groups) are started by 1 (or more) players. THEY decide the rules, not you. So if they think you're not experienced enough for their group, you're not. Period. Crying rivers won't prove your case, it will only worsen it.

Wanderer's Palace is meant to be a gearing up dungeon for AK. is it AK doable in AF? painfully yes. Are people going to hate you? probably. Could you have better gear instead of diving head first in the deep end? yup. IMO, the first boss of AK is a clear indicator that some people need to go back to WP.

He is not being elitist. He is absolutely correct.

Anything that will stop undereared players wasting the time of the other 6-7 is a welcome change.
