Ah, gotchya. I'm foresee a similar system as well, but hadn't seen any confirmation. Would be great to see an outline of the new systems!

Bumping this now that battle system bleuprints have been posted.

Now more than ever I'd like to have a preview of what classes can unlock what jobs so I can level the correct class to play my favorite job!

I imagine for the most part it will be fairly common sense which classes are likely to unlock which jobs.

Then where would Dark Knight fall?

They released that art that looked like DRK armor, so it IS coming, or so it seems.

Dark Knights throughout Final Fantasy have used Sword&Shield, Great Swords, and Scythes.

I'm pretty split, because I can come up with logical reasons for DRK coming from Gladiator, Thaumaturge, and Marauder, yet I have no way of knowing which I should level. Hell, I can even connect Lancer to DRK.
