Goobbue Mount

All of us who purchased the game, subscribed for at least 90 days should be given this mount (diff color if you want) as an expression of thanks for "helping" the launch of this game. :)

I don't see the OP 'whining' as is suggested in the responses.

Different opinion != whining/fanboying/white knighting/trolling/etc.

I'd suggest those people that use those terms when describing any post that differs in opinion to look at themselves, as you're acting ridiculously.

I'm not 1.0 and I don't think we should get that mount. That's like saying "Let everyone get the Collector's Edition Couerl mount." Well...if you did that...why the F&%$ did i buy collector's edition then?

Is everyone here forgetting the summer yukata's from FFXI? The re-release of the Goobue mount will happen. Mark my words.

But really, I wouldn't care if they made the coeurl available for purchase at a later date or released a free reskin available to all.

they gave a new version of the yukata's last summer. yeah goobue was already stated once its gone its never coming back, just like the legacy chocobo it was limited.

Question: My legacy char has the goob mount, but I want it on my new character. Is there no way that's possible?

Very incorrect.. people do sell their accounts.. I know my RL friends who sold their FFXI accounts with relics,all 75's (in 75 days), and a bunch of other stuff for 500-1300$ REAL LIFE money. So tell us again, how these items are worth nothing.

People aren't against this because they're greedy or don't want you to have what we have. We're against it because it would mean Squeenix is going back on their word, and that sets a bad precedent.

The Goobbue mount was part of a campaign to get 1.0 players back into subscribing, supporting, and playing the game. It was advertised as a special gift for pre-2.0 players and you have to "subscribe now" for this "one time only" chance. Everything about the Gobbue mount was about pre-2.0 players and giving Squeenix more money for a flawed game.

If they started making it available now, then that incentive campaign retroactively turns into a scam. Lying to the playerbase to get more money, is that really what you want the devs to do?
