From the terrible programming, graphics aside of course, you could have told me that this game was programmed in 2001 and I would have believed you. SE needs needs to learn how to optimize.

Haha... it's funny they state it's functioning properly. Too bad for them the community is always two steps ahead of the developers.

Well, to be perfectly honest, they do mention it's working properly at this time, but it doesn't make it sound any better tbh.
That's just another caveat on the list... and FFXIV already has enough of them

I use windowed mode but it's basically full screen minus out the top part of the screen. Just go to your configuration and set it to windowed mode, and make sure to set the resolution to the same as your desktop. That's how I've always done it, and it works great!

This is one of those problems that I can't believe even exists in XIV. I mean, considering how long and hard players fought this exact same issue in XI, how could they choose not to make it possible in XIV? This kind of oversight is as major and strange as not having a sort function for the inventory, which they ALSO lacked for a good while after the official release. I just don't understand how they could have remotely thought that these kinds of things would fly.

Try that with a crossfire setup and find out why it does not work as great as you thought. Seriously, is it that hard to read the previous posts of a thread before posting? It was already mentioned at least 3 times why windowed mode is not enough in some scenarios and how it's not an excuse for a non-working fullscreen mode.
