Well in my case it's not that I wanna segregate myself from other groups, but I just want people to know that my company is LGBT friendly. Of course anyone is welcome to join our guild as long as they are friendly, courteous and just wanna have fun playing the game together.

Just wanna create a community filled with open-minded people where everyone feels comfortable and at home. ^^

I know and I applaud all who do so. It still is sad though that there needs to be these kinds of FC's and LS's around instead of everyone just minding their own business and having fun together.

I would be more behind this thread if it said, "List of guilds that maintain a policy of open mindedness regarding social issues". I don't hate, and I believe categorizing people around a certain group is counter productive, so encompass everyone or GTFO.

It's not that we want to segregate ourselves or that we ask the sexual orientation of everyone that we come across, but there's a sense of familiarly and safety when playing with fellow LGBT members. It's more, should one of us talk about our partners or whatever is happening in real-life that may or may not involve our orientation, we'd like to know that there wouldn't be someone being disrespectful / creating a toxic environment.

When you consider the purpose of this thread, are posts such as yours necessary or supportive at all to what is trying to be accomplished? It boils down to people of similar interests wanting to play with other people of similar interests.

Its an mmo, many, many people like to openly talk about their lives to each other and make friends, not just put blinders on and play the game.
