Question... will WAR draw from MRD, PUG, GLD or MRD, LNC, GLD or MRD, PUG, LNC?

It has all of the MRD abilities, and it will draw extra abilities from PGL, and GLD.

I have a question, though, I read somewhere that for Jobs the amount of cross-class skills you can slot is cut in half compared to what a Class has, is this true?

Yes, this is true.

The reason Classes draw 10 abilities from other classes but the Job only draws 5 is because Jobs already have 5 abilities of their own. When a MRD turns into a WAR, he will gain 5 more abilities.

MRDs and WARs are both tanks.

Greetings fellow axe men, I choose warrior/MRD because as a madman there was only one weapon to chose... a big giant axe. It is our duty to aoe mobs and take blows to the head only for us to hit the enemy and gain all of it back while protecting lesser men from the horrors of combat that we laugh at.

MRD is so much fun setting up numerous enemies and then with blood bath and overpower setting up massive aoe healing. I love the combat style too, we basically fight as recklessly as possible and get rewarded for it, and the more frenzied we become the stronger and more durable we become. I've heard from healers that we aren't hard to heal for and I've been told from the instances I've played so far, I'm not a bad tank.

Hey all! Maining a SCH, but secondary is definitely gonna be WAR. Played MRD all through B3 and loved it. As a future healer, it brings a tear of joy to my eye when I see a MRD run in with overpower AND flash :P

All you Leviathan tank mains keep an eye out for me for some rad heals!

Why Warrior?
1)WAR is pure aggression, I like its style, there nothing fancy or sly about how you play war. Take your axe and crush anything and everything in your way, rend its flesh from its bones and leave it naught but a bloody mess beneath your boot!
2)It takes guts to play WAR, it's a class designed to take a beating from multiple enemies at once. unlike those other jobs who run from just one. It takes someone special to tank 6 mobs at once and be the one who walks out of the fray alive!
3) WAR is just plain fun to play, no further explanation needed there.
4) WAR seamlessly actualizes its potential better then any job, being able to chain, damage boost, enemy slashing dmg -, and hp restoration through damage while getting a TON of hate, in an endless devastating cycle is poetry in motion.
