I don't know why you are so stuck on the fact that 1.0 had a poor minigame, therefore 2.0 should have NO minigame. Hell, FFXI handled fishing pretty well, it had all of the rod/bait/location/weather stuff that yoshi is talking about having in ARR, AND YOU ACTUALLY FOUGHT THE FISH TO BRING IT IN. You had to tip your rod the opposite direction from how it was pulling, and bigger stronger fish actually put up more of a fight and required better reflexes to bring in. Why cant ARR have that? Why does yoshi insist on making it sound like you will perform no actions, and it will all be about how you set yourself up? Why does he sound like he wants there to be no level of interaction from the player after they push "fish"? Why is this class designed just for personal achievement, don't all classes have some level of personal achievement? Did you not feel fulfilled when you completed that relic? Or crafted that item? IS GEARING UP EVERY OTHER CLASS, AND PERFORMING YOUR JOB WELL, AND REAPING THE REWARDS NOT A PERSONAL ACHIEVEMENT TOO? Then why is there a class with no other goals aside from that, which sounds like you do not even have to put in the same level of effort that you do for all those other personal achievements?
