My thoughts exactly :< really weird
Nothing yet again.
This could be, since I'm in England, and I recall now Yoshi saying that they hadn't had a great number of EU players applying.
As for the question someone asked about re-applying, I haven't read the small print for this test, but I assume it's like the test cycle for V1 in which SE said submitting more than one application would mean you would not be accepted.
Given we get no ack. that our application has been lodged .. the web page confirmation isn't really adequate IMO, an e-mail response to the SE Account would give me greater confidence .. then receiving an e-mail soliciting an application just makes me feel that the one I have submitted got lost somewhere.
It's no big deal, as I said, I'm not complaining about not getting in the test [yet], but to me this is a small example of SE's perennial problem: SE->player communication is sometimes kind of screwed-up.
Im on EU rgion and i didnt get in lol, what a dope. :\
Actually, you can add multiple services to an SE account. Your game will be titled FINAL FANTASY XIV 1 & 2 if you added a second game account. Therefore, you can apply to Alpha using the one per person application but the trick is you get duplicate invites due to you have two XIV's on that account.
From France and still got nothing. I applied first day, I got an active account, I never got in FFXIV 1.0 alpha or closed beta even if I applied and I got the e-mail Square-Enix wanting more applications...
I want to whine so badly.
At least, we got weekly alpha videos so it's not that bad.
but.. what's this week alpha video? i haven't seen any... .
well i am not argueing about that really everyone should be in alpha..
but sending e-mails who contain "we need more alpha testers" and not inviting me although i am applied since the beginning of the application phase..
it just feels like standing in a queue right on the first place at a supermarket and the cashierer is saying "hey you in the last row, com over here, i got nothing to do right now".
WTF?! Now thats how to treat customers. at least they shouldnt send e-mails like "we need more alpha testers", i feel pranked. i dont know what it is, why i am not getting in.. is it my amd phenom II 4x core? .. is it my ATI radeon 4800 HD ? 4GB RAM?
the fact that i really want to test it actually and give feedback, since i am there from the beginning on? i dont get it Square. i think they use definatley a shity system to recruit their player base in alpha.
everybody can lie around saying his system is like this and that. instead of using an online scan programm, which i had in multiple alpha applications and so on.
