While I agree that the animations could be cleaned up, I DONT want some WoW dances or anything.. I'd like them to remain friendly to the mood of the game.

Edit: A few Elezen animations come to mind that could use a dash of enthusiasm.

First of all, the attacks you're describing are the same for all races (with some variation). Those are weapon skills or special combat maneuvers tied to Classes/Jobs, not race. Several of them only occur when a high amount of "energy" (TP) is built up. Otherwise they have a cool-down. They're not emotes done when casually standing around and relaxed. I'd hardly put emotes and WS's/Combat Moves in the same category.

I get it. The Roegadynn emotes are too stiff and lifeless for you. That's why I said put a bit more "oomph" into them, but keep them looking appropriate for the race (maintain that sense of weight and size).

Seeing a huge brick wall of a character bouncing around with the same lithe grace of a Miqo'te who's a fraction of their size and weight would look ridiculous.

More poignantly and on-topic, please no real world meme-style dances. Keep it unique to the world/cultures of FFXIV.

So, simply because we're a bigger than Miqo'te, we have to be slow. I'm not asking to have Roegadyn bounce around like 14 year old Japanese girls, that's already taken. We can still have a little energy.

We're barely taller than Elezen, we just have more muscle mass. we don't have to be the hulking brute race simply because we have big muscles.

I have already agreed that some of the Roegadyn emotes could use a bit more "oomph", as in, energy, animation, etc. I am mostly agreeing with you, for crying out loud. It's only the specific implementation that I disagree on. What are you still carrying on about it for?

Are you just arguing for the sake of arguing now? Looking for any little detail you can find to argue over, just to keep it going? Seriously. I feel like I'm just being trolled at this point.

That said, Yes... because you are a huge, hulking mass of muscle that is easily several times heavier and more massive than a Miqo'te, I don't expect you'd be able to move with the same kind of grace or fluidity or speed as one. It would look ridiculously out of place. I'm pretty sure I already said that... and, unless you've been living under a rock for your entire life, I shouldn't have to explain why.

What exactly are you even trying to prove at this point? You've stated your case, several times now. I agree with you on some parts of it, but not on others. We'll agree to disagree on those. Capisce? Or are you going to find some other detail to nit-pick into another argument now?

I rly wouldnt call FFXIV 1.0 /dance dancing they are more like steps, even FFXI had more of a dance with the dancers moves, i liked some of the dance that aion had,
