Tonberry, as a playable race.

Yet you have people killing neutral goblins just outside the city. And you wouldn't feel threatened when you see a bunch of people fully armed to the teeth smacking things up that have lived with you inside the cave for gods know how long?

I think something would be lost if we saw lots of tonberry going around and being sociable, wearing armor and weilding great axes with the other races. I guess I need some fan art to be convinced of the tonberry monk.

I would like to see their own version of the jobs as a beastman tribe though. Though It would probably borrow from ffxi.

A lot of people want to play a race that doesn't look very human. A tonberry fills this slot.

A beast race that can be every job, where as others stick to certain types.

They don't follow other beastmen.

Lantern Flash as a paladin should have a larger/longer range than any other race.

Better tails than Miqo'tes.

Tonberries are one of THE most iconic races of Final Fantasy
