Alpha First Look: Video 1 - Character Creation

Is it still set so that each face type only has one available type of beard? So that the younger looking face only has wispy little goatee thing, while the older looking face has the full beard?

Looks great, especially considering the video is only 720p and low-bandwidth.

I would wish for:

--More hairstyle choices.

--A better way to evaluate the voice selection. The little 'ah' is not enough to gauge.

--Bust selection needs one size smaller and one size bigger available.

--For Miqote more than three facial markings to choose from.

Not exactly drowning in a flood of information just yet...

Pretty cool so far. But am I the only one who thinks there should be more 'age' options? Just seems like everyone in Eorzea is in fresh out of high school. Its FF, wheres the salty old dogs and the reckless pre-tweens?

I think the bust looks fine for the miqo'te. I'm sure when the female Roegadyn comes out, you guys will have your precious melons. Hell, look at Merlwyb.

Granted, they're not monsters, but I think they're big enough.

I honestly can't understand how anyone can say that the "very large" option still isn't big enough.

Anything bigger than that is a waste IMO. Personally, I find if they get "too big" it starts to look unattractive :( they're plenty big enough to play with and bury your face in, and that's just fine with me :D

Everyone and their 3 legged dog wants more hairstyles lol SE would need to add 3 thousand hairstyles for unique's sake yet 60% of ppl will pick the same one? thats a waste of resource even in the real world when a hairstyle is the cool thing to do millions have it so get outta here with that. Character creator is perfect as is for me bcuz no matter how much they add i'm already set on what i want :D

Love the character creator music! Hope that orchestral music is used more in ARR.
