"Jog" is the worst addition to the game - rant

And just to be clear, I think the complaints about Jog are silly. But this shit takes the cake.

Now, I understand that most people probably love the introduction of Jog, but personally I've never had an issue with the normal running speed for the past 11 years of playing, and I've no idea why they felt the need to change that. We've got Sprint, Teleport, Aetherytes, increased Sprint duration in cities, Peloton, and this patch even gave us mounting up while running. WHY on earth do we need Jog too?

Please, at least give me an option to toggle it off permanently...

Again, I know it's a stupid thing to be mad about, but I genuinely feel like it makes my gameplay experience worse, as weird as that may sound.

What do you think? Do you love Jog, do you HATE it like I do? Or do you not care at all? :o

Wow, this may be the most petty pointless reason to say you're quitting

I wish the game didn't have aetherytes in larger cities and you could use your mounts.

So when you're in a party do you get mad when your phys ranged dps uses peloton? lol I just don't get the issue. You get from point a to point b much faster. I don't understand how that would be a negative.

Bot like WoW with flight paths. We're so spoiled in FF14 been able to teleport everywhere. I like jog, gets me from A to B bit it is abit overkill. xD

It seems out of place in content. It should have been restricted to cities, towns and housing wards only.

Unlike in WoW the big issue here is that the porters we do have, unless they have changed since I last used them years ago, only take you one or two aetherytes over. If I want to ride from Ul'dah to Grid in one continuous trip I should be able to. The system here, like many many many other systems, was poorly thought out and put into the game half baked.

Love jog and if I don't want to be moving faster I wouldn't press Sprint in the first place.

Saw this thread getting some laughs over on reddit. For this one I agree.

I swear some people will find literally ANYTHING to complain about lol. It's not a big deal, click the icon and remove it.
