pretty sure there would be a good handful of groups beating it soon ;o same as any obstacle they gave us before. Sooner or later there will be a group posting their youtube of it to show first few kill and slapping the title "guide" lol even tho theres no guide-ish effort in the vid....

phase one = mega flare
phase two = he's warping around and doing the laser beam
phase three = <60% hp, he's going crazy and doing tons of meteor
phase four = <20% hp, he warps to the top floor and summons crazy golems and meteors
phase five = if you survive phase four (an another mega flare), he will turn to Super Saiyan mode

The solution is obvious...

Farm ingredients, change to a crafting job mid-battle and synth. DUHHHHH

Oh, I don't doubt people will beat it. I just have a part of me wanting them not to xD

People have already beaten it. On Masamune server. Some time earlier yesterday I believe.

I looked it up on the xivpads.com achievement search tool, here.

Yeah, Scorpion (formerly of Gysahl) beat it. Huge congratulations to them and their team; the fight's pretty unforgiving.

Care to eleborate? Also, has anyone beaten it yet? Can they confirm if it's just the 1 megaflare at the start, and just the one phase? (And I mean just 1 HP bar, not different attack patterns).


Also... wtf Super Saijyan? Oh great, it was bad enough in the original fight when he rages after MF. Now he has an even STRONGER rage mode?!
