I was wondering why it was in French.
I noticed that too... http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...-Period-Closed
Japanese: 2012年8月10日(金) ~2012年9月3日(月) 16:00
UK: Friday, August 10, 2012 (GMT) to Monday, September 3, 2012 7:00am (GMT)
NA: Friday, August 10, 2012 (PDT) to Monday, September 3, 2012 11:59pm (PDT)
All say to send to ffxiv_contest@square-enix.com, and all but the NA version have the correct time. Subjects differ, but for NA and UK it's the same.
I feel cheated... I wanted to enter.
Oh, well. Everyone but Bayohne is a winner!
/fingerofblame :p
They had better accept entries for NA up to 11:59pm (PDT). If they don't, it would be an outrage for those who planned around the times they stated and got cheated out of entering.
Don't give up, submit your entries. I expect that SE will abide by the time they posted.
I don't. For what they've pulled in the past I have a text file on my desktop titled "SE's rules don't matter." I kid you not.
If I was running a contest like this, in response to a foul-up claiming early conclusion I'd tack on a weeklong extension for the affected party.
