SE if you're going to keep housing the way it is YOU NEED MORE WARDS

The fact the system allows for multi owners is an issue when there's a lack of ward.
That's not blaming the multi owners but blaming the system that allows them to exist.

I'm pretty sure there are multiowners on every EU server and they are not causing any issues because there are enough wards compared to the number of people playing on EU. The numerous players with an fc house who want a personal house too (essentially controlling 2 houses) are also not causing issues. 800 surplus houses per server does that and the objections people have towards player behavior just suddenly cease to matter. The only thing wrong with the housing system is the lack of wards on overpopulated NA servers.

Oh, and the 800 surplus number has remained the same since August 2023 so the thought that multiowners will slowly eat up housing until it's gone is false.

Stop turning off housing Demolition, the system literally has become this way due to it being turned off so much. Demo isn't off in NA, just in JP I believe for a natural disaster. It hasn't been off in NA since covid ended AFAIK.

To repeat myself again,

Houses exist. They are literally there. The issue is people want *specific* plots and would rather fight over a 200 bid plot than take something easier to acquire and upgrading in the future. Blaming multi-owners is honestly just an excuse, because those same people did not want the houses they are picking up to begin with, they wanted the 200 bid luxury medium in LB. Multi-owners are also only picking up FCs since multi-owning privates isn't a thing, so the entire point of blaming them us ireelevsnt if you're not specifically going after FCs (which there are plenty of those in most servers right now).

You can be mad they exist and suck up easy to win plots or you can stop being so picky and creating your own problems by being so selective. Just pick up a 50/50 small in Goblet and relocate in the future if you care about stopping multi-owners that much. I literally can't take anyone serious with complaining about there not being enough wards when I can go outside my private and see 3-4 open smalls that have been abandoned because people want to bid against hundreds of people for some reason. My private ward on Dynamis was literally a ghost town with 10+ houses available for bid for over a year.

Go get your houses and stop deflecting your own issues of only bidding on the perfect house (and subsequently getting mad when people win houses easily by taking the smaller bid routes) onto multi-owners. Unless you want an FC, they aren't your enemy here.

I remember when I had my ward on Sagittarius and on Phantom, people yelled at me, people said I was a cheater, that I was stealing people's houses, that I was basically trash for doing what I do, that was 6 months ago.

I visited it again today, the part of the ward I had which was 31-60 has 7 plots used out of 30, and my Sagi mist ward has about 10 plots used out of 30.

So much for me stealing people's houses.

correct me if my thought process is wrong but the only situation where you would vouch for more wards (which are you doing instead of pushing for the solution at it's core) is because you want to expand MORE.
what would more wards bring? more small houses that nobody already wants? it's true that new M and L's will satisfy the demand of that tiny fraction of owners that already have S and/or have been saving up to upgrade for some time already. But what about the rest?

I am open to argument or disagreement as long as I can learn something but until now I'm against adding more wards. It's not solving the thing people complain about. It will just move the problem ahead and we'll be repeating the same thing 6 months in the future.


edit: I'm also wondering why SE did dangle the idea of cloud servers that resolve all space issues of physical servers, and then stopped island sanctuary with "maybe we will update it (meaning more levels for new pet/mount/furniture), if there will be some interest"

They could make one empty house frame in one of the placeable positions on island, and allow interior furniture to be placed as well.

It's empyreum, the area that literally nobody wants, just like goblet, almost all worlds have empty houses in there, some including mediums and larges. People go "muh shiro" or "muh mist" or "muh lb" when they bid, they want their plot of choice, not a house, they want their plot of choice.

Yeah you arrive into Empy and you see either gingerbread monstrosities or Sukiya-zukuri skins everywhere.

I understand why people don't want to live next to such houses.
