Yoshida-san: Please Give Us a BETTER System for Relics and Future 2.0 Challenges!

My wishes

Longer re-entry timers (or simply design content so you don't encourage/require it to be spammed back to back endlessly please).

Battle content to revolve around actual battles. I am all for crafting and gathering playing a part, but with relics you have Hamlets (DoL/DoH preferred), then gathering, crafting (with no mats from battle).

Alliance content, with engaging challenges that we can enjoy rather than grow to hate quickly after they are implemented due to the sheer amount of repetitiveness involved in gearing ourselves, best in slot should not come from single group content spam content.


<played FFXI from launch until Wings of Goddess, loved endgame there. I did much of the same content there for YEARS and it never got quite as tiresome as content in FFXIV manages to become in a single patch cycle.

It's broken, fix it!

Well come 2.0 beta we should see if rng is gonna remain a bulk of the system in just about everything we do. Square has at least acknowledged there are people out there fed up with it. http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...776#post701776

I have a wonderful idea for Se and the Devs. Let put there paychecks on a random number generator w a low print out rate of 0.001% chance that thier paychecks will print out. Now when they ask about their paychecks they are told "Oh Im sorry for all the effort you put into your work it wasnt your luck week/day to get paid. You know what they would stop coming to work in short order!

Not even close.

On a sidenote, really too bad they locked the party in Mor Dhona thread; finally a positive thread, yet they close that one down to make room for the dozens more that will be whining about the same subjects.

well they are called relic + has the best status in-game also (example: Gae bolg has highest DMG and highest DPS + the massive status it has) we dont want alot of the player base to have the relic weapons very fast like AF hell no i refuse that,plus its challanging imagine breaking up alot of Obelisks or Avengers for Double melding only its really good i dont want to have a whole ls posing with their Relics or Garuda weapons. no i want it to be based on luck with everyone given an equal chance plus with Militia Acc. u can get more HQ for materials or Double down so whats the problem really?

Damn ...about to get my pc back and was ready to play again...after reading these requirement.May be time to take another break till SE can get 2.0 on track and use resources for thoughtful content. And here i was thinking DL gear was absurd.

For every step forward this game seems to take two back and one to the left. SE i wanna love this game, please stop pushing players away.

Same stupid idea like the Garuda blm burn. Ppl complained about it and guess what? All hardcore ls have all weapons and nobody else have or even do Garuda anymore. Same thing with these af. ALL hardcore ls will have it. And nobody else will. If that's the way the devs want, just say so. I said before and I will repeat. Stop the fcking whinning because hardcore played will always get the stuff and making things harder will always fuck the casual player base and others that can't be playing for 72 hours non stop.

And u dont even want to understand the true intention behind this.

You are may not be able to think that far, but there are many ways to make it more fair but not faster/easier at the same time. Ppl even ask for difficulty instead of luck with drops.

To see some progress instead of only crossing fingers for random stuff all the time.

Would you call CoP (in the first years, idk how difficult it is anymore) easy just because it didnt had any RNG in there?

If all the hardcores have weapons, why does the casuals not team up to beat it? Is it because the onyl thing they can do is waiting for the hardcores to carry them?
