Today, E3 Starts :) Thread for general discussion

It's pretty sad that Non-Specific Action Figure is the best thing to come out of this year's E3 so far.

I disagree, it looks like they've completely forgotten about all of the things that made Tomb Raider unique (puzzles, exploration, platforming) and are basically just making Uncharted or Gears of War with a female protagonist. Add (exclusive) launch DLC on top of that and they're just rubbing salt in the wound.

TR was one of my favorite series as a kid, and it's just kinda sad to see it go down the drain along with the rest of gaming. I'm not sure if games are getting worse or if I'm just getting too old for them. :(

I absolutely agree with Kowen. Its a big bad Uncharted copy. Its like it always is.
Square Enix buys some great title games and sells them as crap. Everybody buys it and thats what Square Enix success is today.

Would surprise me if Tomb Raider is a really good game at the end.

Naughty Dog gave it their blessing the other day and are actually promoting it on their Facebook page and such.

that was one of the most boring e3 presentation ever and it lasted FOREVER.

SE doesn't have a press conference this year do they.

No I don't know... It just doesn't look as smooth as it should imo but maybe it is too early to say anything like that.

Is there like a XIV 2.0 booth? If so I wonder where the best place will be to get the details on what they are showing!
