Yes. Id say before you can finish the last quest of an expension it should be mandatory to finish the side stuff... it my lv 50-80 roulett got me ala mhigo 7 times in row...

If you can't proceed with the MSQ without completing it, then it's part of the MSQ.

Specifically for Crystal Tower, it does set up some major plot elements for Shadowbringers, so yes, it very much is part of the MSQ now.

To progress 2.5 you need to complete CT and Ifrit/Titan/Garuda

Either both should be msq or none.

Also msq roulette always been last instances of 2.0

If msq means mandatory for the main quest then you can add sastasha, tam tara, copperbell, ifrit, totorak, haukke, Brayflox, Stone vigil, Garuda, king mog, leviathan, Shiva, keeper of the lake, snowcloak, ramuh, etc.. They are all part of msq and are required to progress.

This just feels like semantics. "It shouldn't be in MSQ because other things that are required to progress the MSQ aren't in there." "MSQ roulette has always been the last instances of 2.0." Well, yeah. But those aren't arguments against putting CT into MSQ, it's an argument for keeping things the same.

Judging from the prevailing opinion on all the other threads, everyone is bored and leaving the because the game has become way too easy! How could it be possible that players are skewing towards the simpler mechanics if they hate how easy the game has become? In all seriousness, though, players are clearly voting with their in-game choices. Trying to funnel them into content that goes against their preferences will only result in funneling them right out of the game. This is why I'm playing this game every day now and not WoW.

Wouldnt the duty roulette push everyone not ilvl cheesing into non crystal tower raids (if there are any)? Naturally you have progressively longer queue times with each level increase. A longer queued party should get priority on members if I understood the duty finder correctly so if you yourself arent ilvl cheesing you should get those non crystal tower raids more often then if no one was ilvl cheesing. Atleast this checks out with my experience with alliance roulette. (shouts out to that one dude who abandoned duty first in paradigm's breach but was able to use duty finder again before I could because that raid just takes that long)

Won't happen unless they make them 4 man duties. All the MSQ duties for the roulette is 4 man now.
