Can we talk about some classes needing rework here or is this specifically for the PvP modes?

My main two concerns are:
1. Job Imbalances
2. CC is King / Purify doesn't work

Job Imbalance

Classes like WHM and WAR not only define the meta but their kit is objectively better than 90% of their role's counterparts. Not only that but if they're not on your party it's almost guaranteed to be an uphill fight. I play the crap out of SGE (because GNB is an absolute joke in PVP at the moment) but it makes me feel like I'm not even doing enough because despite kardia being on no cooldown I cannot toggle characters fast enough, THEN cast dosis or edosis, and then swap again fast enough when WHM can hit a single button press, dash in, get protect on its allies, and proc an AOE cure.
They need to take a look at kits like GNB and SCH and tweak them for their role. GNB can't even tank if there isn't a tank on the opposing team, and why waste time nerfing healing with SCH if you can just stun them completely every 60s with WHM and nuke them? Combine that with several lackluster kits/LBs and it steers almost anyone trying to be "serious" towards a specific few classes.

Crowd Control and Purify

Purify claims it's supposed to be a 5s duration but server is eating that haaaaard. I'm also 90% sure that Silence can't be undone by Purify despite the tooltip saying it can be. Right now the game is pretty much heavily skewed in CC/burst favor so if you can't do that it's pretty much over. That is part of the reason the WHM/WAR meta is so strong. Add in a bard with silence or RDM with silence and bind I believe (black/white shift) and you're not going anywhere.
It doesn't feel like skill to be able to play really well but be ganked because I have no CC but the opponents have a ton, which makes me not want to play half the classes I like as a result.

All things considered I want team match added so I can actually play with friends and the kits re-balanced/functioning. At the moment I really like PVP but now that I have my armor I don't know if I want to keep playing knowing all of ranked is just "WHM + WAR + SAM/MCH/BRD/NIN" Having fun classes to play in different ways doesn't help/matter if the opposing team can keep you locked down and keep you from being able to do anything for what feels like an eternity.

Please fix Cloud Nine map. It is like 30% chance of getting the feather in air because of the server ticks. I want to fill that LB bar for free and I don't want to skip the maps mechanic with Guard just because its RNG to actually obtain the feather :(

i put mine in a separate thread but in short
- add a way to automatically target lowest HP enemy and/or marked enemies
- add some sort of vfx or sfx to limit breaks (ESPECIALLY zantetsuken)
- give charges to purify
- PLEASE let us queue with friends

Crystalline Conflict seems very well received so far. I think if the gamemode is to continue for a long time, we need to be able to queue with friends. It's an MMO, afterall, and lots of people play specifically for the social aspect. I see why ranked might need to be kept to solo queue (unless another teams queue is added in the future with some improvement/better queue times due to more players), but I'm really enjoying CC. I think that I'll get burnt out if I'm just playing on my own though, because it's seriously addicting. I'm playing so much that I feel bad for not interacting with my friends and FC, and the thing is a lot of them are doing the same thing. I think I'd sacrifice a slightly longer queue time in order to play with my friends. On that note, in ranked, I'd also sacrifice queue times for role queue. I had the experience of facing a team that had 3 healers, a warrior and a dragoon. My team, all squishy DPS, stood no chance. The warrior didn't even die. In casual, I'm okay with some cheese and funny comps. But when I'm playing ranked I like a little more balance. I guess I'd just like to see CC actually continue to be played, supported/expanded on, and I'm worried with the current system people won't want to due to the lack of party queue in casual, and role queue in ranked.

Hello SE, thank you for listening to the feedback we have been requesting over the years regarding improving PvP. I enjoy the new changes and the crystalline conflict game mode a lot. However with how fast paced the new PvP ability changes are, it has become increasingly obvious that the netcode cannot support the changes. There are many examples of using DRG's Sky High limit break ability and dying in mid-air, using Guard but still being hit for 100% damage, using Purify only to be stunned again before the resistance buff kicks in to immune the players from the next stun attack, and many more examples like this.
Could it be possible to update the netcode or the way the servers handle data (I don't know the cause, I am not an engineer) in a way that minimizes this and gives the players a smoother experience?

Fix outright bugs, make Purify work consistently, and tweak class balance. That's really all I'd ask, unless we're in the fantasy dimension where we can request higher tickrate servers.

Honestly, the thing CC makes me miss, the feast, now hear me out, I would like it brought back, but not as it once was, with Crystalline Conflict, it has become abundantly apparent, MOST FFXIV do not do well with objective based PvP, Crystalline Conflict, Frontlines are all objective based PvP, objectives first killing secondary (or in the case of CC 1.5) I have honestly been unable to progress past Bronze Rank 2 because I am always in parties that dont stand on the objective or go after other players, meanwhile the enemy team is just casually escorting the crystal to the goal, and there is only so much I can do when I am on BRD, I think with the new PvP reward system and maybe an alternating seasonal system (i.e. Feast -> Crystalline Conflict -> Feast etc.), the feast can and should make a come back, if players REALLY wanna just go kill people.
There are few things that I would like to see implemented on the current systems:
1.) For Ranked matches if a person DCs or Leaves the game should Pause, and a 1-2 minute count down timers should initiate while they players refill, if a DC'd player does not come back they are removed, and a new player is searched for, if no new players in a minute, both teams are expelled from the duty, no penalty or rewards, if the party does fill, then the players are returned to their starting bases, the crystal returns to the nearest check point or the middle, and the match resumes and maybe if there's less than 30 seconds left on the clock an additional 30 seconds are added, just so that way the nearest team can just go stand on the objective while the timer runs out and win.
2.) This is gonna be mainly from BRD standpoint since that's all I've played in PvP since SB, but overall role balance needs to be addressed. (I am kinda hoping things are severely overtuned right now because this is new, and they want to entice people to play but...) it's absolutely not fun playing BRD right now, because I dont have the oomf other jobs have, and most other jobs can kill me if 2 or more players decide to focus on me, in frontlines this isn't a problem, in CC it's absolutely a problem especially if all melee have things that can basically one shot me on impact not to mention their LBs are basically one shots as well, on top of that BRD's LB builds way too slow for CC, I can get one MAYBE two off if the match goes into over time. Wanderer's is also just kind of annoying to work with on controller, maybe if it provided a group wide esuna or status shield that would be easier to work with
Also to kinda go against other people in here, if the option for queueing with friends is made available, please either make it a team only mode OR keep it to casual for Crystalline Conflict
I do want to iterate as well there are a reason things like queueing for pre-mades as well as frontline freelancer are things
For pre-mades it creates disparity because you get the added benefit of coordination, whether in game or through external means, unless you can assure that ALL the other 64 other players are in pre-mades it creates such a severe imbalance, that makes it unfun for other teams. (Heck I am even of the mind now that they should just do away with pre-mades altogether in Frontlines and Rival wings)
As for freelancer it was forced implemented because people would legit swap Grand Companies to get wins, back in Stormblood on aether there was a HUGE thing that "if you wanted to win, you had to join the Maelstrom because all other teams would just lose" it became self-fulfilling, and made PvPing on Adder or Flames feel really defeating (and I am sorry but who you choose for a GC should not be influenced by PvP)
If everything was fair and just, I would totally be down for adding these back, but they aren't and we as players proved we can't handle them and that they were just unfair, so that's why they were taken away from us.

I'm not sure if it has been said anywhere else. But spells saved by Double Cast get removed when using Guard/Recuperate/Sprint on Astro. It would be nice if these abilities did not remove double cast spells.

The most annoying thing for me personally is our good friend server ticks. Nothing more absolutely infuriating then hitting Purify when stunned, but because of server ticks, your recuperates don't go off in time and you get clapped regardless.
