Affected me since 6.0.5. Not sure what they did there but I'm sure as hell am gonna stop subscribing until there's a word about it. They didn't even bother to acknowledge it in the announcement. And what's even worse is that having a free VPN software fixes your connection problem in a jiffy (TunnelBear to the rescue!). EVEN IF your IP originates from the same country. If I have to subscribe to a VPN service, I think I'd pass.

I had no lag last night either and most of tonight, but it just started now again...

And of course, the ping spike returns.. 30 minute after the usual again. We'll see how it lasts @_@;;


Edit: So today the spike happened around 7:30 pm pst.. and lasted until roughly 9:15 pm with mild jumps in between while returning to normal. Just continuing to hope that something can be done with this. Luckily, I'm able to find some leeway with it on off-raid days but during raid days becomes a little challenging at best..

Terrible lag on Lamia after 10:30PM EST or so, every night.

I have been having this issue since around the 6.01 patch both lag that lasts 10 seconds and the sudden disconnects. This phenomenon changed over the few weeks since that patch and the current one (6.05). During the first few weeks, there was a lot of lag happening more than sudden disconnects (the 90006). I used my command prompt to ping the connection on the internet and it seemed that from every random "Time out" that would appear, even if it was just only one in the span of 10 min or more, it would make the game lag drastically. I have played other online games (and mmorpgs) and I did not have any issues with having any type of lag. Then a week before 6.05 it seemed that the lag and disconnects suddenly became very rare with only having a little bit of lag once or twice in the span of 5 hours of gameplay.
But last week after the patch this problem became even worse, there is not one or over an hour without either constant lagging or sudden disconnects, I was barely able to do any savage content only grouping twice to practice the first savage raid which I ended up having numerous lags and one disconnect in one of them. In the past few days, it became so bad that I just had to stop playing because the constant disconnects which are more frequent and lagging kept happening every 30 or so minutes. This was both in instanced areas and in the overall world and cities. I have tried resetting my internet modem and checking my ethernet cable just in case, but still the same. As I mentioned that I do not have any issues with other online games.

Like other people have mentioned it seems odd that only a specific small group of people have this issue while the rest do not, even in my FC nobody mentioned this problem.

I am playing on a PC with Windows 11. Region: New York State. Server: Goblin (Crystal)

I'm getting a lot of lag spikes during the battles. Seems to happen more often during duties.

Steps i have taken.

1. Curse my new ISP, it changed around the time 6.01 was released so not sure if it's the cause
2. Flush, clear, clean all of my network data
3. Atm trying mudfish to see if issue persist incase it's some crappy node somewhere

Happens more often during the night and morning

On one hand, I'm glad im not alone in this. On the other, it sucks that there hasn't been any mention of it as a problem.
I've been getting these absolutely horrific lag spikes since 6.05, sometimes it doesn't even kick me off with a 90006 (or whatever that kick-to-start-screen code is), no it just leaves me hanging unable to do anything for upwards of 30seconds to a minute.

Its very easy to trigger the lag too- instanced content. If I go into any roulette, dungeon, trial or party finder, guaranteed I will be murdering my party though inability to heal.
I had very little issue since 6.0 came out but these last couple of weeks have been rough.

I've also for the first time ever, had the slew of dx11 error/Cannot patch files errors in the last few week aswell.
2 full re-installs of the game and firewall allowances made, it seems very 50/50 if 1) I'll manage to get into the launcher or 2) Complete any content without someone getting mad at me and making a report that I'm griefing or something because i can't respond to them getting stepped on by mobs.
