Offensive 5 across the board, leaning on rogues and a marauder is frickin gross, no argument there.

Squadrons were comically good during the barrage spam days. Trusts just feel unbearably slow by comparison and still have the same peeve with Tanks not AoEing well.
why rogues when you can go double archer?
I especially love the Trust System for the Immediate On-Demand Dungeon at whatever specified level range to refresh or practice rotations/cooldowns and dungeon mechanics after leaving FFXIV for a while and coming back or not playing a certain job or role for a while.
I'd love for it to include ALL previous dungeons in the Trust System so all Level Ranges are covered.
Target Dummies, while providing something to hit, do not simulate actual combat conditions under stress. While in Trust Dungeons you are taking hits, job mechanics that require taking hits are triggered, you have to dodge AOE, you have to dodge Line attacks, you have to run to this spot, or that, stack up, heal, mitigate, etc all happening in real time and while it is leisurely after a fight going from one mob pack to the next, in the actual combat you get repeated opportunities to fine tune and practice.
I feel like expanding the trust system into older content is a waste of recources.
And to me running dungeons with npcs feels like a solo game. No offense here but please remember this is an mmo.
Also about that:
I'm no lore expert but you hardly know the scions at the beginning of the game. So aleast for early dungeons there is also no connection to your trusts.
ARR already has this through the rank systems in Free Companies. Just get high enough and then you get access to a little room where you train recruits and send them on little missions and at like lvl25 they open the ability to do dungeons with the NPC's. In 6.0 I am pretty sure they already said they were expanding this to Stormblood content.
I want Yda or Lyse for Trusts...
Players often forgot that trusts have no AI, its not a smart system, its a fully written script on how a npc will react at any given moment.
This is why certain events will always play out the same way. The npc does not see the aoe on the floor but the script for the aoe is connected to the npc avoiding it.
Squadron is a "cover all" solution, its a general written script that may or may not work for the content you do.
So by asking for trusts for all old content you dont ask them to copy a script but to write a script for each dungeon which can be a big task.
Trusts are more akin to a solo duty that was fully planed out before you even enter, and you simply play your role.
keep in mind trusts are not "smart" they just are told what to do what happens before it does.
