Why does everything in this game have to be sexualized? It is not a love Story. Not in the way you try to force it into. It is a tight Friendship. I really do not mind LGBT stuff or whatever, but i hate those who try to forcefeed it into my brain that they are LGBT and (insert random content) is LGBT in their head. I do not care what sexuality people are that i do not know.
By all the Gods this is getting out of hand.
I appreciate Square Enix supporting LGBT rights in FFXIV.

Little disclaimer: I see every human being as exactly that, a human being with certain basic rights. Nobody should be harrassed cause of what they are. And that said...
I saw a rainbow some weeks ago, does that mean the light which breaks in the raindrops support LGBTQ rights? Jokes aside that crystal shows all elements which are in this order cause we know rainbows and in other combinations it would look odd in our eyes since we know our spectrum of light. I wish people would stop screaming for LGBTQ rep and stop sexualizing literally every and anything they encounter. Dunno what is wrong with people when their first thought when encountering a new character isn't what they are about but rather what sexuality they would like to see in them.
And i am in fact very gay myself and i guess it's just a silly wish to want a world where nobody gives a fork about stuff like that which would be a world in which we people would be truly accepted as what we are, just another person in a world of billions of people. That's why i don't like the LGBTQ "community" that much, screaming first for acceptance but then wanting special rep and we need a char that is so rainbow you can literally see he is part of the LGBTQ. And not noticing that this special rep shouldn't be special at all, it should be normal and we shouldn't care about it but people do and that's why we will always be this silly curiosity that needs special attention.
But hey people will always love stereotypes, so nothing will change and people will cry for rep chars and celebrate anything that looks close to a LGBTQ couple or a rainbow even if it's just a crystal combining the forking elements in the game. No notion of their character developement. No notion of any character trait other than the sexuality. Put a male roe in a dress and let him be a trans scion and the world would rejoice even if his character would be as flat as his chest. -
