Precisely this. I’m also concerned about my connection, as my downloads from SE’s servers always seem to be incredibly slow. And I don’t want that to cut into my zero hour plans.

RE: the data-mining post. I doubt they’re delaying it for that. Dataminers will mine regardless of when it’s released. The time the patch drops has never stopped them before.

It's illegal for games in japan to release DLC before you can have access to it
So far they very really lax with that rule and just put it up while the game was not available but would be
It is currently past 8 in the morning for them, yet there is no pre-download
So you guys either wait 2 more hours and pray, or just sleep and get up 2 hours pre early access to hope and try then without being sleep deprived
If you have work around that time, well sucks
But as you are bound to work they sadly are bound to law and becoming this big they really don't want to get into a lawsuit drama about something like a DLC download

Come on SE! Where is the download?! PS4 and Mac have their preloads up already!

This is normal. This happened the last time too.

I think Stormblood's pre-patchability started just an hour or 2 before the maintenance was scheduled to end. Though it was awhile ago so my memory is fuzzy on it.

I'm actually curious about this, i've never heard of this law before, i'd actually be really interested in reading up on it, care to provide a source?

Spreading misinformation won't get the download out faster. PS4 is not up.

Yeah PS4 has NOT triggered the download yet and I just hit check for updates on the application and nada.
