Orange hair also looks kind of weird on most of the races.

My short list:

1. More face models and jaw/eye/nose/mouth parts to play with.
2. Body scars and tattoos.
3. Selectable horns for Au Ra.
4. Scale colors for Au Ra.
5. A butt that isn't as flat as Steven Tyler's (doesn't have to be customizable, but an overall increase on the base body and gear would make a huge difference).
6. Fangs for Seekers.

I don't expect a massive revolution of the character creator, but I think everyone can agree it's severely lacking in places.

Besides just appearance options, I'd like some of the gestures and motions from other genders to be unlocked. Like the 2nd female DRK idle stance for the males and vice-versa. I'd even be ok with purchasing a motion pack from other races. Like a midlander having the ability to idle, stand and run like a miqote'. It would really allow for more customization of our characters. If a 10-year old game like Aion can do this, I don't see why FFXIV can't.

Other than that more hairstyles, eyes, mouths, face and body shapes and beards/stubble for men.

Where there are issues where the head/neck is misaligned, it's certainly worth fixing (one such example was shared just after a fanfest, where the head and neck angle is clearly misaligned on the male when in a specific battle stance).

If your issue is that you don't like the proportions? Those are what SE wanted and there is nothing to "fix."

Oh, I also wish we could at least preview hairstyles we don't have on the aesthetician. I'm thinking about getting the Y'shtola outfit JUST for the hairstyle, but I'm not sold on it yet and it would be way easier if I could preview it on my character with different outfits.

7. Actually commit to the clipping and give us longer hair please. After the Princess Outfit was released on the Mog Station which clipped for all races but Lalafell, I don't think they have a leg to stand on when it comes to clipping anymore.

8. Delete Female Miqo'te Voice 5 from the game.
