I can certainly see it being a recreation of him made by Omega to test us, that part I can definitely see, regardless of whether or not its the real one or a recreation, I can't see that fight being anything other than Midgard.
Either way, not long to wait, so we shall see, I'm more interested to see the very last fight, if the leaks are true it could be a very interesting fight indeed.

Oh, I'd almost certainly say it's a data version of Middy as he was when he battled Omega ages ago. Given their history, I'd say Omega likely has plenty of data to recreate him as he once was before coming to Hydaelyn.

Damn, I forgot about that part. Need to rewatch some cutscenes I suppose >.<

Probably people talking about the 4.4-5.0 leaked info.

I get the feeling from what little we can glean from the voiceover that they're going to rewrite the history of the game, and potentially even things that happened in 2.0 or maybe even 3.0 will be rewritten to say they happened differently than we experienced them. Possibly so they can finally clean up all the residual 1.0 code as well that has been left in the game since the relaunch, and create something more clean for 5.0

All I got from the trailer is that the axe the war was using the msq dungeon is very nice. I love simple design axes and a large battle axe was what I have been waiting for since 2.0. I'm also pretty sure that's the new tome weapons. Guess I'm back to pug raiding this tier.

Even my post is missing where I acted to deter people from believing the so-called leak as being just that, and instead think logically in regards to Mid as he showed up in the Omega story (see: post-o8 scenes) and Chaos (more or less hinted at by "Alphascape" basically meaning first, meaning FFI). Of course we were going to fight Omega as fighting the big bad of a story is a given in FF games, of course we're going to fight Mid as of the aforementioned scenes, and of course we'd have Chaos to finish off this old-school FF tourney. The only real question is the forth fight. I just didn't want people freaking out that there was an actual leak when those three fights could be deduced without one.
