Just like trained soldiers wearing military gear are going to get tired quicker than if they weren't wearing any gear at all. Do you think you can run as long as you would normally with 70-100 pounds of military equipment than you would if you didn't? Let's be honest here. The point is in full plate armor you can do push ups, cart wheels, run, jog, spring, fight, climb, and any other activity regardless whether or not you were wearing platemail or not.
