Excluding Players from Ultimate Savage is Not the Right Move

I wasn't going to post but man I gotta quote you because it's exactly what I thought when I saw his World.

Fight drops 340 weapons that might be better and more impresive looking that V4S which you need to beat V1,2,3 in order to get it.

Fight has no weekly lookout or restriction, drops the best current weapon of your choice when clearing it and also a title.

if this fight ha sno significant gate you will see quite a hefty amount of people buying this fight left and right. there's absolutely no reason why a fight with such a reward and such a difficulty be open for everyone? If you want this fight work for it. You have as much right to do this fight as anyone who put the same effort into beating savage so stop victimizing yourself like someone had a higher blood allowing the exclusive access that you will never get a change to get. You and every new millenial complaining about exclusivity baffled me with this arguments talking as if they don't have the same rights as everyone to get anything on the game, stop kidding yourelf and work for it.

I consider the requirement to clear O4S to be the same as meeting an ilvl requirement for certain content. Like many MMO's, FFXIV has a number of gating mechanisms such as level, item level, main story quests, etc. This is no different. I'm not certain how anyone capable of clearing O4S is being "excluded". If you're capable of clearing Ultimate Savage, you should have no trouble clearing O4S to unlock it. You aren't "excluded" from the content. You merely have to meet the prerequisite to engage in it. Its the same as having to do all those level 50 dungeons to unlock the roulette for it.

I'm not doing regular savage and even I think ultimate should be gated.

This is nothing new, you have to clear omega normal to access savage, and you have to clear each floor of savage to get the next one, and so on, and no one ever complained, what's the difference with ultimate being after you complete savage??? also, let the pro raiders have fun too, they have been boring because of us casuals, having two tiers too easy and boring for them, as you say they also pay to play, they deserve some content too. I don't see the problem.

Except it's not really excluding anyone? If you wanna get into it then you'll try to. If your are like me and care that it exists because it's an amazing concept but don't care to try it then idk...just deal with it?

This has to be a bait thread. I mean multiple times Yoshida has said don't complain about it.

I'm sure someone in 8 pages has said this but is this for real? This complaint makes literally no sense. It's like complaining that current EX primals are locked behind MSQ - it's fine you have to do MSQ for them because if you can't manage Shinryu what business do you have with Lakshmi and Susie EX?
