i cant tell you how many people ive seen and talked to that couldnt even set up LFP. The systems is an overcomplicated mess that does not do much more then what FFXI does. Id trade this one in any day for a more simple one 11 had any day.

still love how people can sit there and defend crap when they cnt even make basic features simple and functional, or pull this stupid loot system crap, or not even allow simple shit like sorting in market ward searches (or let you see +1s yet lol)

still baffled as to why so many people are willing to pay for what still a beta, with things that where done correct from the beginning in their ....what 10 year old game?

+10³³ votes on this, they are hard and strategic battles, yet most of us receive crap. It's a big waste of effort and after a while the battle becomes frustrating instead of fun because of this. Feels like a another job in my life if I want a weapon, no thanks. :(
I'll settle for normal weapons and real fun until the devs change it.

they will likely be quest based and better suited for the new jobs anyways, rather not do these fights over and over. And we al know quests in these games have been pretty much a push-over, so unless they make them not easy so people can solo them (which im guessing they will) everyone and their grandmother will have a good set of gear and weapon soon enough.

It doesn't bother me if the AF quests are hard. AF quests in FFXI were a pain in the ass, but the rewarding factor was definitely in there. As long as the quests are reasonably challenging and there is a good story to go along with it. Just don't make the requirements ridiculous, as the recent content has been lately.

But, I'm not saying "Noes, u cant haz ur drop rate / lootz fix."

I'm pointing out that there's a out-of-the-frying-pan-into-the-fire problem: if it's easy to get all the junk you want from the Ifrit and Moogle events, there's not much left for you to do (unless getting all classes to 50 is appealing and doing your own forbidden materia work ad infinitum).

Running out of things to do would be as much (if not more) of a contributing factor for people to give up their subscription as being frustrated with the low rate of reward. Ironically, it's that slim chance of getting what you want that's really the only tool in the chest they have to keep you playing the grindy, repetitive content. The same grindy, repetitive content that some hardcore players apparently want to see more of in all areas of the game, to much fanfare and applause.

And it is the villagers who are quick to grab the torches whenever the white knight ever decides to ride through town. While the search features isn't 100% great, it is something that works for 1.0 till better search features are released in 2.0. I have been able to put parties together on it before, so it works well. Hell, I am grateful a search feature was put in to begin with.

thats what im hoping for. Not only did we have a neat story for each one, but the gear itself (depending on the class) were great pieces that could last you til 75 in some cases. The thing is this game seems to need to make every quest soloable for casuals that they will be easy.
