when you make a broken game and try to sell it to people...thats normally what happens. I refuse to pay for the 2.0 beta, but id be sad if they have so little people they close the game down. I support SE in trying to fix the game, and all of the great ideas they have for 2.0, but i DO NOT support them trying to pawn off the 1.0 version as game worth paying for.
Ive been pretty critical of the game lately (and im not even close to being alone on it) but i really do want a great game to emerge from this, i just think they are making some big mistakes which will kill the community (or potentially the game itself) and as much as it sucks for them to be losing money on this game, they made the decision to apologize for it and promised to fix it. Don't dupe me into paying when the dev's themselves are even happy with the game (and they are not or 2.0 would not be happening).
Of course we all know the horrid choices like releasing the game when it did was from someone up top, not the devs and they are going to be the death of it.
SWTOR came out like 45mins ago at midnight. You could pay $90+ for that game n 2 months playtime.
Just headstart for pre-orders. Official retail release is next week.
I would love to see these sources where "50% of the players are leaving when subscriptions hit."
