Will we see the Regalia in FFXIV?

They said they won't give us Clouds bike, so they won't do this either. Personally the regalia in XIV is a bad idea, but the bike needs to happen imo.

They didn't say never, just "not yet." Don't let your dreams be dreams, man.

Think some here are forgetting an important point: Mounts are 99% 'Eye Candy", 1% Practical. Experiences differ I guess but, like when Behemoth mount was 1st released, people in Mor Dhona were oogling it to death..quite the sight. Same with Fenrir/Twin. So, no, I wouldnt say size and clipping would be enough to detract a great many people (myself included) from enjoying something as big as a more realistic car lol. Granted, ya itd look a little strange to see a car jumping up stairs (I get an image of the Dukes of Hazard car flying down the road for some reason) but we've managed to settle for stranger stuff (like the way lala boobie sliders work)

...and ya, Clouds bike shoulda BEEN released. If the devs were that concerned about movement speed, the windcutter mount woulda never got released either (and we've actually been asking for the bike) If they added just a simple feet on ground/feet on bike animation for stop and go..think itd quickly be the most popular mount hands down.

There was a bit of a change recently. They said that they may increase ground mount speed and that if they did so adding the motorcycle would be a definite possibility.

i hope that if they add it, it's easier to drive than in XV, and that it doesn't break every time you land with it.

What mount exactly? Thought it was a new one I missed but not 100% sure what your talking about there. As for the jumping, may not be practical to the bike or car but a simple "booster" engine that ignites on jump for lift perhaps. Though I still stand by a bike would make more sense over the car but I wouldn't say no to either one.

Whether it is the motorcycle or that vehicle from FFVII - as long as it has the Highway Chase audio track - I will always ride it! (16/32bit)

I hope not, it would look horrible, hairstyles would make sense but I don't see any purpose to even have a FF XV event.

Regalia with Speed Racer Mach 5's auto jacks that can propel the vehicle upwards.

I can imagine it happening in Garlemald as Garlean tech wouldn't be out of the question, but a car in rocky terrain with no real roads that can jump over rocks and off of cliffs? Yeah. Stupid.

The Regalia Type-F would be the closest thing to acceptable, and even then, I'd expect it to be a flying mount/solo player only in terms of aesthetics, kinda like the manaclippers.
