Please just give us Viera!

Still waiting for Viangaa. And the viangaa minion.

(If SE adds viera, I'm fine with it. Sheesh, so much rage over a proposition. This is the way; I got a good feeling!)

Honestly, I'm not a big fan of the Viera. I'd much rather them putting more effort on giving current race new design features.

ALSO!!!!!!! if anything is to be added, can we talk about cross breeding race?

Like Chocobo-breeding? I want to breed my own Lalafell I like the idea of cross breeding races.

I m kidding. Lets get serious. I think it would be nice to have more options here. Hilda looks great and I would like to have the same option for Hyur and/or Elezen. But hey, Viera are great, too. Just add them with 4.0 and give us more costumization options with 5.0.

Yeah, I am not so sure how original they are but they do have some features I didn't think about like the eyes having rings if you so choose. I was surprised at that. I don't play the races I play due to cuteness though so you shouldn't say that everyone only plays them for their cute factor. I play certain races because I just like them or I find they suit parts of my personality.

I originally played Miqote not because they are cute but because I like cats IRL and have worked at a animal shelter in the past. Au Ra came and I just found they suited my personality a bit better so I changed to that. The way I design my characters might be considered cute by others, but then again I design them after myself as close I can so it isn't me trying to make them look as cute as possible at all; it's just me being me.

For example the reason I don't have a Roe character is just because I can't relate to them, not because they are, by popular opinion, "not cute" etc. The cuteness factor has nothing to do with it really. I am just personally IRL not built like a Roe; not that tall or that...buxom lol xD.

I am sure I am not the only one who plays races because they personally relate to the race and not because of cuteness/sexiness or w/e. Even though I do like Viera and I wouldn't mind if they added it I do agree that they really should do something different first. They are a business though so who knows what they will decide. They want more players which means more subs which means more monies.

To be honest this seems more appealing than adding Viera to the game, it would expand the character customization and provide more unique looks to people characters.

And yes i also think Hilda looks cute as a button!...a dangerous cute button. :p

The game doesn't really need any new playable races. Not yet, anyway. What we really need is something that will benefit everybody - such as additional customisation options for each of the existing playable races. Adding a new playable race would involve an immense amount of work given that pretty much every piece of gear in the game would need to be adjusted to fit the new race.

i still think my idea wasnt to bad (page 3 this thread) but i agree we do need more race features

omg yess this so much this it would be an amazing feet in any mmo to do this im game

I would like both features: Viera and expanded customization features for each race and clan. If I had to choose which to take first, I would choose expanded custom features because let's face it, most look like clones of each other currently. If we could get that first, then we would have Viera with expanded options as well. Although, I would not be opposed if the Dev Team takes the reverse path of introducing Viera first, then expanded customization second.

I wouldn't be against adding Viera to the game, but I don't really see what the fuss is all about. I'd rather see something a bit different... Either going the somewhat traditional RPG route and having an Orc-like race, or an almost fully beast race... Like a werewolf kinda thing. :P
