That would be great, if executed well, but in my experience, the vast majority of the time, this leads one or another GC getting their bloodlust up, and the retreat never happens. Either your GC forgets about the new nodes and continues to attack the sandwiched GC and/or the sandwiched GC gets pissed and hounds your GC as they try to retreat. Either way, the third GC is left to get all the new nodes, uncontested. If leave the two other GCs to fight each other over a dying node, then you're the company that's free to pick up 3-4 of the new set of nodes.
