We NEED a "Gunblade" job, a sword-wielding DPS job is long over-do...

with a gun-using class already in-game (Mechanist) I can't see them adding it as a new class, I however could see them added a melee-mode as MCH's Stance-dance option in a new expantion (probably not in 4.0 but maybe 5.0) thou that would just make them a glorified Lightning from FF13 (will take what I can get at that point)

I'm not a game designer. I don't understand the ins and outs of balancing a class, especially in an MMO typed setting. I do not get paid to be so, and I have not had the opportunity to receive any training.

Does this make my desire as a consumer to have a feature in a product I enjoy invalid? I don't think it does.

Just because I, or others, cannot give the specifics on how a gunblade class would work and fit into the delicate balance of the classes we have does not mean that I, or others, cannot wish for a gunblade class to be in the game.

(sorry if it's already mentioned) This would make so much sense with the final loyalty reward being Squall's outfit! Imagine all the Squall look-a-likes running about though :|

I prefer other job before a gunblade job

Can't they just add a gunblade weapon for Dark Knights?

Do they really need to make an entire class just so you can fulfill your Squall Leonhart fantasy?

Well, we already have Lightning, Cloud, Cecil, etc look-a-likes running around anyways... So why not another eh? =P

Jokes aside, i think actual Gunblades would be a great addition to the game considering it's actually apart of the FF Lore. Since FF11 didn't have them, why not FF14... Something new for a change.

While I agree we need a sword-wielding DPS job, I personally always hated the gunblade. I know many are big fans of it, and it's the fans that make this thing go 'round, so I definitely do not oppose seeing them in this game. You just won't catch me using one :p
