Have you ever talked to a person with no gaming experience about FFXIV?

I don't talk to non-gamers about gamer things, it's awkward... >x>

I had fond memories from XI with me and my mom discussing the San D'Orians! :D She thought they were stuck up whenever I explained them ^^;
But for some reason she really loved Ronfaure's music :P

Not exactly a conversation, but here goes:

Dad: *cooking omelets* Can you go downstairs and get me some eggs?
Me: *fighting titan (hard mode)* In a second...
(I know that if I wait too long my dad will either get mad or go get them himself, so once I get jailed, I literally skip all the stairs on the way down and sprint back upstairs with eggs in hand.)
Me: *places egg carton on counter and grabs the controller like a pro*

And like many other people have been mentioning, my mom and dad think chocobos are big chickens
