you can either spam a FATE on La noscea or Thanalan and they are the same in their core design (a BLM spaming ice, can do the trick) and its not challenging at all.... Its just boring

I did read your post, it's not encrypted or anything. I just don't agree with your point as even if a goal has no direct route it's still a goal.. you clearly didn't read, or can't fathom anything beyond your jaded little views

And killing 900 mobs with the same stats with different skins, doing low level dungeons and waiting hours for fates to spawn would be your definition of fun I guess. Bottom line is there's no challenging content apart from x primals and coil and gating Atma behind those would cause a revolt among those that don't have the time or skill to do those content.

all things aside, is this weapon u get at the end even after the myth books really valuable? i100 crap compared to coil's i110 and i115

It's impossible to please everybody so they made a few way to get "good" weapons.
The Coil weapons for people who want to have challenge.
The Bahamut weapons for average(? didn't try yet) challenge.
The Relic for no challenge at all. But you can't give "good" weapon like that so they ask for you to grind.
It seems to me some people want the "no challenge, no grind" weapon. Maybe on the next update.
Please look forward to it.

EDIT : it would be nice if it were the same weapon instead of different weapons though. It would add a "many roads to the same goal" flavour.

Yes!! I clicked like. I too enjoyed the Atma's quest. It was great. Let's have more content in the field, and I really look forward to the expansion pack, with more grind stuff, and more FATE NM's in the land. Let's get everyone out those cities and stretch those legs!!!
