XIV is Not Being Remade for You/Us

Elder scrolls was a comercial failur till word of mouth spread. And that game had crap reviews. yet today elder scrolls has been very popular getting game of the year alot.
Kinda funny elder scrolls was never meant to be an rpg...

a similar thing could have happen with ffxiv but people focus on "the bad" too much. Or made the game bad by their "rules".
this game was never meant to be a sit in 1 spot and pull mobs game. We was meant to roam around killing mobs. thoough i liked ffxi. i didn't enjoy staying in 1 spot. I got bored easy and tend to run around the party alot just to keep me active. There are places you can take a group and skill stuff. Just gotta look and roam.

FFXI is a pretty much a standered for what we expected it to be but theres alot we expect.
then you guys hgave a low niche standered that was bleeding subs when cop was out.

you guys can keeo crying on stuff being too easy. But guys really this is a video game meant for enjoyment. It is suppose to be fun not a pain in the rear. Not everyone was able to do much of the content due to the restriction or how long everything took. Take cop for example, it needed the removal of the caps. Why? a lot of people, myself included was missing out because of not fitting the job or time requirement. And not a lot of people was going to re do it because of the cap.
You guys really need to see the bigger picture.

ffxi was a niche (in a bad way) game. it was hard to set up alot of stuff due to the heavy elitism, cookie cutting, and just no one willing to re do things. When you gotta pull teeth ti have a LS mate help. You know something about the game is bad. Truth be told i never beat any of the expacks. couldn't get help

I'm sure they are going to include the batshit crazy hard once they raise the level cap. if you remember folks we're all stuck at 50. I'm sure that some point in time they will raise that as they did with ffxi. for those of you recently playing FFXI what is it now, 90? 99? I remember when it was 75... for how long it took me to get to 60 then they raised it on me = _ =; lol. so don't you worry SE is not going to just drop FFXIV when they are done fixing everything to make people happy. that's where the real fun will begin.

That has a lot to do with the people in general. making the game solo-able I think is the goal to prevent things like this. granted I've seen a great example of an elitist LS, run by elitist people who look down on others. it's a real shame they are in the top 30 of the server mainly because they only take in high ranking players. I feel like we should be discouraging this elitist behavior. (and we're talking about actions too not just LS invites) but it wont stand for much if someone is able to get things done without having to interact with people like those. and no more fair-weather players! I refuse to work with people like that (only in it for their own gain, most people who join you for leve's and help you with nothing else.)

but people are always an issue in these types of games. you just have to show a little faith and find those who want to have fun with you as well and not be a leach off you.

lol discourage elitism? all ur saying is lets ruin someones game? they're playing thier game their way and not bugging u at all so stop QQing about them not holding ur hand because they have better stuff in the game because thats what they want from their game. if they dont help u dont help them and its all fine right?

you seem to be missing my point and are also unable of spelling: you, your, Crying. I'm saying if they are being elitist dicks just don't play with them. problem solved. It's something that's easy enough to do if your able to solo in the game. and I'm not trying to discourage social interaction all together, there are a few friendly players out there you can count on you just have to be able to be counted on, yourself.

the elitist can play how they will. but if you don't like it don't play with them. eventually it will get pretty lonely for them. might be a hint to be a nicer person in game, you think?

and who cares if they are alone they chose to be elitist they can play with other elitist or be alone on a game, its a game its ur choice if u play with ppl or not

So everyones supporting the casuals and saying xiv will be for the soloers and casuals and all the "hardcores" and "elitests" need to step back. Being a competitive natured player, can someone give me an example of a game that will satisfy my "hardcore" tendencies because all I see is a negative attitude towards those of us who are looking for an experience that requires us to step up our game.
