Which is your opinion. It's not actually the case. Jump would be a natural reaction to get over or around an object or elevations standing in your way. Running through the objects or unnaturally running up a small cliff is a viable option, but it cheapens the look of the game.

The point I made before proved that argument to me personally when I had a non-gamer friend over and while witnessing it thought it was the dumbest and funniest looking thing ever.

If people like to bring arguments displaying their personal annoyance that comes with jump. There are also annoyances that come without having it. The point of annoyance is a poor one. You should start coming up with better arguments.

Call me crazy, but I'd rather see SE fix thier mistakes (the maps) than cover up their mistakes with (almost useless) features.

I honestly don't get either side of this argument anymore.

I don't mind jumping, but it better not look retarded like WoW and WoW clones style. It better look like some freerunner doing it, and be able to fight midair. If that's not possible then no.

It's not really about me jumping. It's about others jumping to try to get attention or just to bother people by spamming it. Happens in every MMO that has jumping that I have ever played.

Dont bother adding Jump unless there is a good reason too....which right now there is none.

Love how everyone glazes over the compromise of add it + add a way to filter it out if you don't want to see it. That's all there really is to it to make everyone happy. Not everyone wanted mob levels or icons hp etc displayed so what did they do? They added it and added a way to filter it out. I have a feeling that's what they'll do here if all jumping accomplishes is adding another way to express one's self.

On the topic of the main subject, it is kinda nice that they are acting ballsy and giving clear cut yes and or no answers.
