Thought I should add, the elemental wheel information seems fair enough, but it's not been consistent in previous Final Fantasies at all despite the fact you say it's been the same for some 20 years. For example, FFX had a totally wacky elemental structure of Ice <-> Fire, Thunder <-> Water, Light <-> Dark (I think?) so it does change fairly regularly.
That said, FFXIV's is SO much more complicated than it needs to be.
