Open World PvP server

While I'm all for killing bots, no. Open world PvP is one of the reasons I hated Aion so much. It's just not my thing, I prefer structured group PvP, not senseless ganking.

Especially with gathering (and to a lesser extent crafting) is I can see people abandoning gathering altogether due to massive assholes killing them while they're defenseless at a node.

PvP doesn't belong in this game. Sorry. If it's that bad stop trying to change the brand people love and go play something else. Not to be a dick, but getting sick of PvP talk for an obviously PvE oriented brand.

This game has abilities that were originally meant for pvp. SE said so in some interviews during beta.

Open world pvp between companies would be great fun. Defend your companies house/fortress from raids from other companies (capture the flag type). Server time based pvp events. Nations go to war. Factions in each nation that fight each other like gangs. 1v1 duels or party duel options even. Rewards and some type of point system. All of this being something you could join by choice of course. I'm hoping for some pvp.
