Here we are. You have arrived at the the best place on the Forums, our safe haven called the "Super General Discussion"-thread.

This thread has basically about anything related to FFXIV, be it things you seen and done in the game, but also things like artwork, video's and songs inspired by the game and the people who play it. (^_^ ) Artists like Niqote, VergilRenate, Docent, Rester, Myranda and many more, love to post their creations here.

Newbie coming through! I love this thread! XD

I hit 5,700 achievement points last night! I am 88% of the way to full completion! (well 88% by achievement count, 84% by point total).

Currently the max amount of ARR achievement points is 5,395. Legacy achievements are 1,745, but since they can’t be completed any further than they are, if I add my earned legacy achievements (1,380 points) to the ARR total, then my max will be 6,775.

A lot of the remainder are long-term goals. I think I did the math and to get all the remaining leve achievements (1,000 fieldcraft, 500 for each GC) I need another 1,450 leve allowances, which is approx. 242 days/8 months >.<. I am close to both Miner and Botanist luminary with 4000 gathers left to go between them, though fishing I have a lot of work to do on. I’m onto my last GC for supply and provisioning and should be done with crafting items in about a month and a half but provisioning will take longer. Then there’s the fate and dungeon achievements and the PvP which I am working on slowly

And of course, I have a spreadsheet for it. I adapted it from one someone else posted on the forum. Hopefully xivpads will get achievement tracking operational again soon, that was really helpful in 1.0.

Any other achievement hunters out there? How are you going?

I'm not much of an achievement hunter myself, but I do run after a few of the rarer ones. I recently started working on getting the GC-issued watch (bracelet) and earrings (55 turn-in away from that one).

I'm sitting at 3,315 achievement points, with 420 of them from my time playing Legacy.

A guild mate of mine has over 6800 points another one has nearly 7000 they make my 2000 feel ...stupid.
I should get a higher score when all my jobs are 50 but I don't wanna rush it.

Oh my gosh, that's so cool seeing that I'm not the only one who loves collecting achievement points! :D ...Though I hardly have any lol. I've been too focused on getting my warrior to 50, and now I really wanna get weaver to 50 for glamour. After that I plan to work on achievements.

I really, really, really wish I hadn't quit for so long now and then had to start practically from scratch... x____x; Ugh. I'm soooo behind.

I'm gonna have to poke you the next time I see you in game, lol.

I'm at 2730 achievement points! I'm proud of that effort! I quit 1.0 before achievements were available I think, as I have achieved none from 1.0! Hahaha.

With only 1900 points I can say: "I'm not an achievement hunter..."

It is a different kind of mindset. When I party with like first timers in extremes or coil i'm like "congratulations on the win achievement/mapping achievement". And they are "... uh yeah? its no big deal". And im like "but .. but its an achievement!" I get excited over every like 5 pointer i get.

I always congratulate people, but personally I'm more like "oh, nice" when an accomplishment lands on my screen.

The only one I did really hunt for was the "Fisher's life: Eorzea".

Finished my Glamour, and now I'm gonna focus more on achievement points. I'm now up to a happy 3095 achievement points (nonlegacy character on a legacy world). The hunt continues for more achievements.
