It's like 1.5k crystals each piece from PvP and the old one isn't super hard to farm unsynced. You can do it!

The biggest difference is that the pink undyable bit is blue on the PvP version idk if that matters to you though

Also the metal/jewels an the pvp set is little worn out and its in gray/silver while the af gear has it in gold.

The silver was actually the deal breaker for me as the pieces I want to use it with have gold trimmings. :( But...still happy to know the pvp set is an option. Might find a use for them down the road..

Yep. The undyable accessory parts like that can make or break a glamour idea for me too. If something isn't the right color, and can't be matched somehow, like with dye on another piece, then it's unusable and that outfit idea is thrown out.

I did it, I switched and I am honestly ok with the lack of hats so far! The new hairstyles mostly make up for it since there is alot of variation now. I was hoping I could get some help with something though: Please leave a like (press heart) on my glamlink. Hairs are definitely the mitigating factor! Not that I have changed this one to anything new yet. I've been spending most of my time gathering junk in Island sanctuary, so I can get more.. Sad to read that about viera on that site! Viera look the best! I liked it, because I liked it to begin with. :)

Ty! :) And yeah, it is mostly miqote or Au Ra, which isn't strange considering a large part of the population consists of those races. I think vieras are absolutely beautiful and so versatile and now with the adding of more hairstyles with every patch they are finally catching up to being as fun to play. I am SO enjoying being back to myself again! :)

Of course, but viera have this way of carrying themselves in glamours that other races just do not have. I mean of course, generally, people like the 'cute' glamours on au ra or miqo'te more, but viera have this sort of presence - which is why I also prefer playing viera for story; they are more modelesque.

For sure, and very good for us who value hairstyles to show off, rather than headgear to cover it up. I was saying the other day I was pretty happy with how viera are finally turning out, I just want high(er) quality and continuous frequent updates. Eventually viera may have more, better hair options than the other races. Rather, they could have.

I am also glad I switched back to the race I should be. Much preferred if they are in a good state. It's probably why I am also so glad to be mindlessly gathering in IS. I have a goal for more hairs for my viera! It is an odd feeling to have new hairs available like this! I hope I can finally put fantasias to rest! So I can spend that money on glamours and other junk in the mogshop for my viera!

imo, the braids look better than the great cuts one, with the massive receeding hairline/forhead problem most hairstyles have.

Viera are getting to a pretty good spot. Yeah, this hair (practical ponytails) looks pretty good. I definitely like it a decent amount, and it seems a lot of headgear works well with it too. As seen in an image above, I have to even admit it looks decent for male viera too, and I don't often compliment male viera.

I'm not sure if people are getting this confused, because I've seen this in another thread too, but the two new hairstyles should be 'Tall Tails', and 'Practical Ponytails'. At least, that's what I presume people are referring to, if so, I have also yet to see 'Tall Tails' on a viera, and that's probably with good reason. They each cost 6000 seafarer's cowries, it's quite an investment at this point in IS.

I think it might be a proportion thing as well, with some hairstyles. Like if you choose a small chin and massive eyes it will look off with certain hairstyles. In regards to the ponytail with the fivehead however, I have only seen it work on au ras.

Yeah between this and a discussion elsewhere I'm starting to wonder if maybe I'm confused about what counts as a fivehead? lol

The hairline is a bit higher than the racial styles, but I don't think Great Lengths has a massive forehead on my character either.

I feel like the MGP ponytail is the single worst offender, with the loose backbraided female hair a possible second, but that one's completely dependent on face, coloration and maybe proportions as I've seen it look perfectly normal as well.

I think the race hairstyles for viera normally have a very small forehead though, so much that I have reacted to it before. So for me it is just that I am used to seeing her forehead being a bit smaller than what it is with great lengths. I think that can give the illusion that great lengths gives "too big" of a forehead. The mgp ponytail though should just be thrown in the trash. When your character starts to look like she is balding that is bad design...

Now to wait until we get gyr abanian plait, styled for hire, yshtolas, and I think the eternal bonding one will look very pretty on viera.

I think that's exactly right, most of them (Not you, MGP ponytail) are perfectly normal but it's the contrast of going from one to the others that throws the perception off. Especially so when comparing the Viera racial ponytail without the fringe because that one barely has any forehead to speak of.

I've always thought the texture on the eternal bonding style was a bit putty/clay-looking, but I look forward to whatever's next.
