If they were thinking of doing something like this (and it's been so long since the official response that I'm starting to lose hope), then it would be really nice to have these tops without the undyeable parts or the huge white stitches that are on some of them (fem Roe top being a glaring example). However, since a redesign is probably asking too much, a simple unlock would suffice.

Yeah I actually have a problem with this, the bottom half of the Quaintrelle set looks like a pair of bridemaids tights when you wear the top, the fact that the bottom half completely vanishes when you were anything but a bikini top is pretty sad. Really hoping they fix it.

As a male Highlander Hyur, I really want a tank top instead of some straps across my chest. My Warrior's glam consists of jeans and boots. A tank top would go great with it. Until we get one, he will go shirtless in protest.

I'm not sure. I mean look at how long male bunny outfits took them to do. I have a feeling this may be a bigger undertaking than we think. I can't 100% confirm this but I heard that the way the game is, they have to manually fit each set of gear to every race/gender combo. Which means even assuming they keep them gender locked, they have to take fourteen outfits (highlander and midlander are separate) and apply each of them to an extra six set of models. I suspect this is also the reason they continue to add gender exclusive items to the mog station a lot of the time. I think it just saves them time to say 'only one gender gets this' and call it at that.

I honestly wouldn’t mind if they’d release one or two of these outfits at a time, just knowing that they’re working on them would be great. It’s something I’ve wanted for a long time.

That is my understanding of how it works as well, and if they do decide to unlock them, it's fine if they take time! (At least I personally think it's fine) But we haven't gotten much word if this was something they decided or not, and this topic was posted a few months short of two years ago now. (Although there are npcs who are wearing tops that are their race variation, so hopefully?)

But feedback is feedback, which a rep did ask for towards the beginning, and I'd still like them to know people are interested. That's how we got name changes after all! :)

I don't like how female midlander gets the most boring looking bottom half compared to the other races. Other than that I'm mostly on the side of having some racial specific gear as it make things more interesting if they released new ones.

Still waiting for this to change also! They should have done this by now!
