My daughter growing up loved peanut butter pizza from a place called John's Incredible Pizza.
I was watching food videos and saw some restaurant in the US where they served macaroni and cheese hamburgers...
And people think pineapple pizza is weird xD?
It's not like it was treated as weird either it was supposedly a really popular and '' iconic '' place.
Edit: Oh yeah and I also saw broccoli ice cream with bacon on top...
Ehm...
"Shelf-life" of this specific EX is quite literally two weeks if you want even remotely competent PF groups. After this everyone with a brain will move on to ultimate and PF will be left rotting with 4-parse window lickers who can't dodge 4 planet explosion mechanics back to back.
I tried the new EX yesterday and I apologize to the practice groups who had to put up with me because I was definitely the window-licker who can't dodge planet explosions. They carried me to a few clears but it felt bad. Everyone else picked up the mechs fine and had almost no deaths by clear 3.
I'm not sure if it's old age or some sort of brain degradation, but the Alli and EX this patch have defeated me and for the sake of other players I'll avoid them. They're great fights and don't need a nerf or anything, it's 100% on me, but it's alarming how easy it is to go from orange logs on Savage and Ultimate clears to being the window licker you used to dread seeing in your group.
There's probably a lesson to be learned on not being too harsh on players who are slow to learn things, because we can easily end up in the same boat one day.
Normal Raid Roulette. Soul of the Creator. Awesome. I love this fight ... most of the time. On this particular occasion, though, the tanks had no idea what they were doing and kept getting people killed with boss cleaves. We wiped 3 times, then vote abandoned.
I'm with you on that one. I've definitely noticed my reflexes and pattern recognition (i.e. the things that enable people to clear anything in FFXIV) gradually going out the window over the last few years. Doesn't help that it seems like each generation of gamers is just a little better than the last as a baseline. You're right, though. It definitely gives one pause regarding the harsh treatment some "bad" players receive. We all adapt at different speeds.
I've been slowly leveling a WHM alt when I'm bored, and when I went in for my first run of The Aery, this was the response as we said our hellos:

I will admit, when you check my search info it is a bit scary as I only have WHM leveled.....plus a level 12 botanist. Glad to know I'm striking dread into the hearts of those I party with. That, or they just really hate Lalafells. :p
*watches four members of the team run off to Narnia, chasing two of the opposing team, leaving the one gunbreaker -- i.e., the poster herself -- to sit on the crystal and try desperately to hold the remaining three opponents at bay*
*repeat 20+ times in ranked play*
*cue endless, silent, internal screaming*
To be fair, that's a rational reaction; you all pack a lot of evil into a very small package. ;)
Clearing leftover roulettes, I spent way too much times enjoying FLs yesterday that I forgot to deal with my roulettes.
One of my run reminds me once again why I’m very reluctant to solo queue as a tank: 50/60/70/80 threw me into Brayflox (Hard).
Immediately after zoning in, I inspected our WHM’s gears. More than enough. ”Sweet!” I muttered. I went leeroy jenkin pulling everything to the boss’ gate. Halfway through the road I noticed that only DRG pop their sprint. WHM & BLM lags behind. Okay well… good thing I have Hallowed Ground. That should be an ample time for those two to catch up.
They did, just when my invulnerability was only a second away from wearing off. Popped up the other cooldowns and try to round up the mobs… and then I saw that Cure III being casted.
”Oh dear…” I said behind my monitor. They weren’t even casting it on me. They immediately switched to Cure I. At that point I realized, this healer panicked. I’m dead, waiting for raise…. I don’t see any swift. They just proceed to Cure I the DRG albeit helplessly. Every single cast after was Cure I. Down we go to the wipe mobile.
Me:“Alright. Too big, I’ll slow down a bit now.”
BLM:”Was going to say to not pull everything.”
Me:”We’ll be fine. I always start big to gauge.”
WHM:”We almost did it!”
Well for one, I’m glad you’re at least optimistic here, WHM. Let’s give it another go.
I split the first wall into 2 pulls. There I heard one of the most irritating sound effect ever: Cure I spam. Coupled with few (surprisingly) well used Regens. What about Holy? Nada. Stone II? None. A-aero II?? What’s that again?. Times where no healing needed they would either just stand around doing nothing or throw out another Cure I. Not even their Freecure procs were utilized.
After downing the first boss I forgo my own words earlier and just pull everything. It’s not like any pulls except the first wall pull were rough anyways in that dungeon. At least they could’ve thrown an Aero II at bosses, right? Hahahahahahahahahahhano. Absolutely none. The bombs in 3rd boss? Not even those.
Couldn’t help but lament how pointless of SE to lower the MP cost of WHM’s attack spells in lower level if players ain’t even touching them.
To be fair, not everyone pays huge attention to patch notes. Not everyone even takes notice of the links in the 'news' box of the launcher (and sometimes not even the big graphical images in the launcher); we've had threads here before about "The Garo NPC is missing, is there a bug?" (when the Garo event went away originally), "Why have all my Diadem permits changed to say they're invalid?" (when the combat Diadem went away for the Ishgard restoration), "ALL MY BELTS ARE MISSING HELP" (when Endwalker launched and belts were removed), and so on.
And people who have it ingrained in their brain that "WHM low level runs out of MP! Must be cautious!" are probably not the same people who study patch notes about job changes and experiment with adjusting their play style accordingly. :/
