what are the glamours you used here?

Just popping in to say that the Fan Voting for round 3's YouTube edition is now up! With some extra explanations from Rongi. :D

The shirt I used is the Shirt of Divine Light on top of some hempen breeches I dyed blue and finished off with the Boots of Divine Light. The rest of my gear is Bard AF2, minus the hat for my round 12 shot :D

I believe those are the Hyur RSE lv1 gear shorts. They're similar to the bloomers from the nightgown set

Those pants are part of the Hyur starter gear. I do believe the Miqo'te pants are similar.

I think the pants and the gloves are Hyur race-exclusive gear? He's not wearing anything in the shoe slot, but he's using that funky bracelet and has fang earrings. Oh, and also the South Seas Talisman!

I don't get the idea some voters are checking the complete portfolios.
Still, a vote is a vote. But maybe it could have been addressed better.

Yeah, something I noticed too. Some people are not judging by entire portfolio and only on the freestyle shot.

Some people are also voting based on race :P just going to happen, and favoritism~

A dead Link can only mean one thing...

Body is the lv23 Cotton Trapper's tunic (or some sort of variation of it~ there are many armor pieces that share the same skin but are different levels)
Hands fingerless goatskin (or another leather type) gloves
Pants IDK but you can easily supplement with some linen tights or something
Feet- these boots come in many styles and generally geared toward crafter/gatherer's lvling up, though there are a few battle ones...an example is boarskin workboots
Sword - PLD Relic Curtana

I glamour/cosplay alot in game, and my biggest advice is to bring up the picture of w/e you're trying to portray and go to the market board and look around at the various gear for sale by 'trying them on'. Helps out C: Some things don't always match perfectly, but at least you tried!

It's still there. I probably miscounted on the tallies since I didn't properly check the post count. I probably have a suggestion to adjust the public voting to prevent those kind of votes, but there is a possibility that it may end up backfiring instead. I'll send it to Tyriont once cycle 3 ends. xD

Cycle 4 will probably start sometime after cycle 3 ends! Probably. o_o;;

Judge's scores factor in greatly, you have all your buddies vote for you but if the judges don't like you, you still won't win lol

Well we all have worked to hard for this to turn into a popularity contest for the last few rounds. None of the rest of us have our buddies voting for us. It would be easier if we all did that but then none of us would really deserve to win and it wouldn't feel like a victory. This is just my opinion on how I feel about th situation.

My previous post sounded a bit weird. I meant to say "you can have your buddies vote for you, but in the end alot of it relies on Judge's scores. You can have all your friends vote but if the judges don't like you then in the end it won't really matter."

IDK I'm to the point where I almost just feel like dropping out because apparently having people vote for you that know you is considered a bad thing. I never deliberately went around begging for votes for people from my server. I just get asked how my competition is going and if people wanna support me they can, I'm not going to turn them down lol. If you my pic sucks don't vote for me, vote for someone else.

TBH the whole voting from servers/friends has been apparent this whole competition. There have been so many voters that don't vote anymore, only because their 'friends' aren't competing. It honestly feels as though the public is very small and not as big as ENTM used to be...which sucks. Alot of models that were in the competition don't even vote either (not saying all of you former models aren't, but there have been plenty that have just kinda fallen off the face of the earth and don't even bother talking to us for w/e reasons).

If Ty and the rest of the ENTM panel feel the need to change the rules tonight, they will. I just don't feel like being attacked for something that's out of my hands, and honestly I'm to the point of just dropping out entirely. I feel like people just think I'm getting carried, which isn't true. The judges have liked my shots :/ but because I have encouragement from my friends, I'm seen as the bad guy lol.

No one attacked you. My post was very neutral. You deserve to be here, it's the last day why drop out now? The point I was trying to make was that this was an issue a few rounds ago that ended in no one being voted off because the judges votes didn't change the outcome of the influx of votes. Even if you didn't go around asking for votes, you said yourself a few weeks back that you were sad and your FC was going to help you out. I chose to only tell two people I was doing the contest because my friends would have done the same thing. And I've had high judge votes this cycle as well. And I've had encouragement and help from so many people that I've done duties with or just met on my server. I'm sure we all have. No one thinks your a bad guy so please don't feel that way.

This contest isn't well known to most FF14 players to begin with. Adeline at least did a lot of work on her in her screenshots (yes, I've witnessed her spending hours for the right day/night weather combo) and promoted the contest so that more people would come by and look each week and have fun. Even if you trying to sound neutral in the end, your earlier post did suggest that you think people asking for friends to help out is unfair and doesn't deserve to win (even though you do the same thing).

So wait, none of the rest of us worked hard? We didn't promote or spend hours on our shots waiting for the right weather effect? Trying to get that perfect outfit? It's not relevant how new or old this contest is. No one questioned if she didn't work hard or not. Her first post did come off the wrong way before she edited it, so I answered in that fashion. And your right, I do think asking friends to vote for you is wrong, even if you tell them not to vote for you, guess what.... they will vote for you. I had one person vote for me this entire time, which was my B/F. I asked him not to vote this round since people could only vote for one person.

As for the other Hyperion models that voted for me, i never asked them to and I thank Marik and Kai for the 2 votes they gave me. So no I don't have 10+ people voting for me. I'm sorry you read my post that way, but like I said I wasn't attacking anyone or think less of anyone.

Thanks for putting words in my mouth when I never even suggest any of that. All I meant was that Adeline put her time and hard work in making the contest lively and fun for everyone with her style. Therefore, she is a great contestant to have in any talent contest and deserve he rightful votes. Also, I don't care if you have 2 friends or 100+ friends that vote for you. All you said in your previous post was this:

I make this request to the judges, please change the judging to a 75% judge say and 15% votes to ensure fairness and equal chance for all participants.

If my shots suck don't vote for me, but when I'm told they aren't, it's great to hear.

Anyway I'm sorry to Ty and the rest of the ENTM crew for all this drama. Stay frosty everyone and have a good rest of the Holidays~ New Year's coming up (oh and my Bday on the 29th)! I also hope that all PS players can get in to take their shots...this is very stupid that people would hack or mess up video games...anyone let's to hoping you guys can get in soon ><

This is my post back originally when all this stupid drama happened. It's just sad considering I never said I asked my FC for help. I was in a depressed state (not even my FC~ just my friends in general) and I told them why, and they wanted to help. I didnt even expect it to even matter considering the judge's votes were heavier in the long run. As I've been saying for IDK how long now, I never went around begging or asked my FC to to help. If you want to great! If not it's fine, vote for me because you want to support me and my shot. I think the same can be said for anyone else around here that's been voting for people they know~ they like their friends shot and want to support them.

This is why I also never bothered even saying anything to Ty about previous models and their server friends vote for them...it's like why bother. It is what it is, so why get mad about it. But of course, someone has to <_<

Anyway I'm sorry for the missunderstanding (my post was made while I was half asleep and prolly came out the wrong way), but when you see someone go /popcorn and potential drama happening because I might be involved, I needed to say something.

Don't even go there with that semantic garbage. I did not accuse Flare of his integrity in the contest. I just pointed out that he contradicted himself in his comments about friend votes and his obvious jabs at Adeline. Also, when I say "at least", it means that's the LEAST of the work that I've seen Adeline do in game to achieve her perfect shots, not that she was AT LEAST the only person of out all contestants to put in the work.

All I'm going to say on the matter is this: as Adeline pointed out, judge votes matter. Their scoring will be weighted in this final round to as to ensure an equal balance between judge scores and fan voting. I also want to say thank you to the models for not sinking to the level of childishness that has suddenly shown up in this thread for the final stretch and working to counter it. This is why you all deserved your place in the contest and all do the mantle of ENTM proud :D

To the question of Cycle 4 - an announcement will come in time. Right now I want to let Rongi's YouTube Cycle take center stage. Additionally I noticed a drop in interest from the general public towards the end and I'm concerned about oversaturating things so I'm at least going to give a small breather before kicking things off again.

However Cycle 4 IS coming and I hope will be the best yet!
