I dunno. I've leveled up every single class to at least 81, and Sage feels to have more button/task variety to me than, say, Paladin, Warrior, Bard or Red Mage. Especially when I'm applying Barriers to anyone I expect to take damage, not just the Tanks.

I do agree with the other Healers, though. Astro is my 2nd favorite healer, but drawing cards and playing cards happens too infrequently to remain fully engaging.

It's nice you feel that way, I've been there before. Stay in that head space, it's the only way to have fun on healer.

Nothing new that hasn't been said already in the past few weeks(years).

Edit: In fact some of the most fun I've had in years in this game was back when SGE released and I thought their shields(toxicon) was damage neutral.

Why are you implying that I'm, like, some fresh sprout that hasn't grinded every single job ad nauseum and thus am playing with blissful ignorance? I may not have started back in 2015, but I assure you that my join date does not reflect how long I've been playing the game.

One thing I wish this game had; talent trees. I wouldn't mind the "increased accessibility", if everything wasn't so bland and boring.

I'm simply respecting the way you're interacting with me by meeting you halfway. Every healer on this forum at one point or another has felt the way you feel.
Leveling jobs doesn't really mean anything in this game, especially when you don't complete any content at or above extreme.
Which is kind of ironic considering any healer that has completed extremes is too good for the balance team.

See, this is a more reasonable statement than simply "That's nice".

I'll add that I actually do occasionally do content at Savage/Extreme. Mostly to fill in for my friends' statics when they need an eighth body. I don't care much for playing it regularly, no matter what the role/class.

I actually still feel like Sage has more button engagement than those classes I mentioned before. Although, I'm admittedly not limiting this to merely DPS options.
