Not that I don't necessarily agree with the message of your post, but even this comparison is subjective. To me the new Miqo mouth makes the mouth look (much) wider in strong lighting and on the female miqo's it gives a clear doll-like effect that makes me think of cabbage patch kids, lol
Meanwhile, I actually don't see the differences on Au Ra faces or Veena's eyes as much, probably because I am much less familiar with those face types.

So all I want to say is, let's try to not make it into a competition of which differences are more obvious than others, because you can't really tell.

I would say your advice goes to anyone who wants to point out a difference, because it may seem much smaller to others.

In general people really underestimate how much training your eye is as much a skill as training your hands. It's like expecting the average person to send even a mediocre bug report; there's a lot of learning involved in knowing what details are relevant and what is a problem because of something else (ie the early comments about the eyes looking wrong were in many ways because of how the highlights were altered, but you wouldn't know that if you only looked at those very early comments because it took someone who knew what to look for to pinpoint what they were picking up).

And this is for male Vieras, where Rava’s pupil got enlarged while Veena got it smaller to be unified for both clans. (and I can’t find the post I took this picture from, sorry)

So it looks like both genders now share the same eyes. And who knows how many other races tbh (elezen? hyur?)
I wish it was an asset switch bug or smth between the clans. But given they both got changed - it looks more like a redesign. And of a clan signature feature no less. With how CC is limited it is upsetting to see even more generalisation happening.

I just saw this, and it's very encouraging! You've been really diligent about your feedback while also dealing with a lot of naysayers, so I hope you're holding up well, hang in there!

I wonder if the new thick eyelashes are a bug. The femhroths actually have the thicker eyelashes as a face feature option, maybe they somehow got accidentally applied to other races?

Seems to now have been moved to 'insufficient information'. You might want to try again and follow the template more closely, but I feel like these aesthetic issues will not be considered "bugs" per se and will more likely be up to the devs' discretion for costmetic changes. But again, probably no harm in trying.

Even if you cannot exactly point out or word what made you feel the way you feel about the new character, just post the comparison pictures, and say that you think there's something off and I can't explain why and I don't think I like it, then call it a day. No need for extreme buzz words like they look totally completely different, they look nothing alike etc. These are strong words, and people will feel contradicted to see the 99% similar characters and will likely to be against your opinion. We understand that you are upset and emotional but be a little more reasonable. People are ready to agree with you.

Idk why we’re suddenly needing some random forummonger ‘expert opinion’ when the idea is to list out what we like/dislike/MAYBE a solution if we could think of, then let the community rep compile the feedback proper then send it to the dev.

Ignore them, and maybe report for derailing the thread & abusing the thread tags if you have the energy, then move on. Keep the feedbacks rolling in, folks.

For Mouth 4 it looks more straight and flat after the update.

(1) The lips lost the cute little :3 where the outer parts of the upper lip seemed to go over the bottom lip its very faint but it gave more of a cat like look while also not being too much, I feel that's also part of the reason why the mouth seems more "flat" the :3 gave more shape to the lips.

(2) The upper lip also looks a touch more flat partly to do with the Cupid's bow being less pronounced at the top.

(3) The bottom lip seems to not be quite as narrow towards the bottom which also gives more of the "flat" look.

Yes, I'll try once more and indicate all these points like date and time and so on. Because I still see this not as an aesthetic problem, but as a bug/defect. The aesthetic problem in this case would be the lip shape itself, which does not match the original, but I'm mainly trying to solve the problem with the huge dent in the lower part of the face, which is an obvious defect made during the process of remodeling. The outline of the lips themselves is actually not as important as this. Although I can see their distorted shape, this is still not a bug, but an "cosmetic change". The lack of texture on the upper lip is also more likely not a bug, but a flaw, so in my last message I classified all this as additional points.

In general, I’ll try again to draw attention to the dent. It really won't do any harm, but at least I'll be sure that I did my best.
