Unfortunately, my melees complain if I bane the adds since they have to hold back on their add which would be a DPS loss for them. Sometimes I might sneak in an Aerial Slash or Enkindle but that's about it. I can speculate that it's because i200 chest + i210 accessory > weapon next week, which, from my testing of how much weapon upgrades give you, is probably true, as unorthodox as it sounds.

Really, the only reason weapon was a sure thing in 2.2 and 2.4 with your tomes first of all was because if you got weapon, you also usually got the upgrade item for it, so if you spent your 3 weeks on it you got a 20 iLVL weapon boost. Now it's a different scenario, where you can get an i210 accessory (which is one HELL of an upgrade over i180), and a 20 iLVL upgrade over i180 chest, for the same tomes as a 10 iLVL weapon boost. Admittedly less so if you go from i190 chest > i200, but the principle is still the same.

it doesn't matter you'll end up buying the weapon for S4 if u beat S3 anyway.

Could someone with the i200 chest do a damage min/max range check vs i180 chest? On Blizzard 2 would be fine.

Considering doing i200 chest + i210 ring next week on the basis but before I make the leap I wanna see what kind of % you gain just from the chest.

Thank you, but it'd be far more accurate if you have all the other gear on to see the % increase. Mainly with how DET, WD, and INT interact (and why, unfortunately, we can't just say INT = X damage boost).

Could you maybe do a close to i190 set and then strictly compare i180 chest to i200 please?

my nerdy bard friend took the drg stats that were posted on this sub forum and scaled it for smn, basically 2.0->3.0 scale at 1080 INT we are nowhere near that atm:

wd = 7.853
det = 0.1207
crt = 0.1613
ss = 0.0515


i180 chest > i200 chest is a difference of 35.753 int
i190 weapon > i200 weapon is a difference of 29.455 int

edit: I will say that the end result of the discussion we had was if you are anywhere near 1000 int or more then go for the body, otherwise go with the weapon first
